ALOCASIA TOWN
Welcome to Lande. When you ascend the first set of steps, you get greeted by Xander, the current chairman of the Adventurer's Club. You'll get an explanation on the Adventurer's Club, but you also get an upgraded Lande map! This works somewhat like it does in Mega Power, where you can fly to the middle of the map called "Soar in the Sky" and be treated to a larger map view to fly to previously visited areas as well as hidden areas you get after you find them through other adventurers. At the moment, you can only select Alocasia Town, but that's fine because you'll be exploring more places soon. Xander also explains he's a gym leader in Asparagus City, although the new gym leader needs some time to get to Lande. Enter the Adventurer's Club and talk to the blonde girl, who mentions that she found something south of this island. This unlocks a new area! You can fly SE of Alocasia Town to find it.

Battle messenger is the first person you talk to (P1250).
Camoufleur Rena: Duraludon Lv58, P2088 (trainer has a Hyper Potion)
The empty spot next to the first Pokemon nest has an Exotic Ore. Midway through Sedge Path is a blue-haired girl, who mentions Xander as her mentor. She is an adventurer and her name is Effie. Her goal is to find the legendary Four Hermits of Lande. The story of legends, and Effie believes they reside in the Prophet Palace. Effie has Chronya interested, but says she will beat her to finding the hermits, and flies off.
Psychic Dario: Bruxish Lv56, Gallade Lv57, P1140
Surf across the pond here to find TM43 Secret Power, then continue.
Lady Cammy: Espeon Lv56, Ninetales Lv56, Froslass Lv57, P11400 (trainer has 2x Hyper Potions)
So you can head west to Asparagus City or east to Hibiscus Path. We're going to the city first.

There are a lot of buildings, but not a lot to really do. There's an aquarium, like it was in Mega Power, but it's under construction. The only two places are the Adventurer's Club at the NW and the gym at the SW. Talking to the first guy in the club, well, he does want your help with ores that his friend got, but that's just fools gold. Then he says he'll pay P1000000! Or rather not, he instead gives you a free Master Ball! Chronya immediately says they've been ripped off since a Master Ball only costs P100000. So not much in finding a location sadly.
Although the aquarium is closed, you can go on the NW ledge, where you can access a back door. Here, there's a veterinarian, a scientist, and one of our Bridge Guards, Ariana, getting information about targets. Ariana reveals that this scientist is the head of the aquarium, Julius. He needs to get a large amount of Water Pokemon for his aquarium: 50 Carvanha, 20 Feebas, 35 Seadra, and 70 Chinchou. We are definitely not catching that many of those species, but we can help by catching just one of each species. Catch these fish, put them in your party, and talk to Ariana or Julius to receive a Rare Candy and a PP Up.
Now for the gym, which is an actual gym this time (Lv67 recommended). You first see a girl who mentions that the trainers here ARE the gym puzzle, and you can reset their positions by talking to her in case you mess up. After her is the first trainer. You need to approach him from the bottom to continue.
Cooltrainer Manuel: Mudsdale Lv64, Golem Lv65, Sandslash Lv65, Rillaboom Lv66, P2376 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
Continue to the next trainer, who you need to approach from below.
Gentleman Matina: Weavile Lv67, Dewgong Lv67, P4824 (trainer has a Full Restore and a Hyper Potion)
You can head above or below the gentleman to continue. The last trainer is blocking the path directly to Xander, so you want to approach her from a distance.
Cooltrainer Feia: Bronzong Lv65, Lopunny Lv66, Aerodactyl Lv67, P2412 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
Leader Xander: P6800, Scholar Badge, and an Iron (trainer has 4x Full Restores)
Kangaskhan Lv68, Body Slam, Rock Slide, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, holds Kangaskhanite • Rillaboom Lv66, Leaf Blade, Belly Drum, Fake Out, Cross Chop, holds Miracle Seed • Gallade Lv66, Psycho Cut, Cross Chop, Ice Punch, Counter, holds Focus Band • Dragonite Lv66, Thunder Wave, Hyper Beam, Outrage, Fly, holds Dragon Fang • Banette Lv67, Curse, Shadow Punch, Play Rough, Toxic, holds Spell Tag • Galarian Weezing Lv68, Sludge Bomb, Play Rough, Destiny Bond, Explosion, holds Poison Barb
Now to Hibiscus Path!

Cross the bridge and Pandroa comes from behind. She's heard that you defeated Nelson and are the new champion. You won't battle her here, but you'll instead get TM51 Stone Edge. There are no trainers on this route, but there are two entrances to Dodder Forest. Head as far SE as you can to find a Revive. Then, enter the closest of these two entrances. This area is actually a dead end, but head around the first set of trees to the north and inspect the sole gravestone. "For lost spirits only, No outsiders allowed". What could it be I wonder? Well, we're not going to do this just yet. Now head to the other entrance of Dodder Forest.

As usual, the first person you see is the battle messenger (P1750). Oh yeah, it's raining in this forest. Another girl here talks about a legend of a dark Marowak, which could be in the forest. Head north.
PKMN Ranger Madeline: Vileplume Lv57, Polteageist Lv58, P2088 (trainer has a Full Restore)
So the next patch of grass surrounded by swamp has a hidden Leaf Stone at the north end.
Psychic Cory: Lampent Lv56, Alakazam Lv57, Banette Lv58, P1160 (trainer has a Full Restore)
Head east and up to a tombstone containing a Max Elixir. Head south, then east to another swamp. Go north, then a bit to the east and south to find TM34 Shock Wave. If you head south from there, then west, you will see Vengeful Karmina, an elite Marowak who wants the "item" (Lv80). You do not have the item just yet, but will get it soon enough. Continue through the forest.
PKMN Ranger Nicolas: Victreebel Lv57, Poliwrath Lv58, P2088 (trainer has a Full Restore)
East and south.
Psychic Jia: Xatu Lv56, Musharna Lv56, Medicham Lv57, Froslass Lv57, P1140
South and out of the forest. Back at the east end of Hibiscus Path, there's a campsite here, and nothing much else before our next location of Belladonna Town.
BELLADONNA TOWN
A spooky town with a number of buildings as well as people saying that ghost mons haunt the area. Also there used to be a castle in the center of town but it's now the National Prison. Eucheuma Path to the north, Clover Path to the east. However, we're interested in the storyline here, so we want to head to the National Prison in the center. If you head left of it, you'll see a cave entrance, but you can't enter. Well, you also cannot enter the prison, as the officers say that no visitors are allowed, warden's orders. Chronya thinks that some of these officials are on "The Shady"'s side. Sirus comes in from the left, and has you come with him, where Annete also is. Annete wanted to turn herself in, but she was rejected. Sirus knows these are corrupted government officials, cowardly and trying to ensure Logan/Alma gets executed. Sirus wants Chronya and Annete to be the bodyguards here. But how? We might just have to break-in, great. Sirus has bribed a prisoner, someone who will take Logan/Alma out of there. And even if Logan/Alma doesn't agree, Chronya is strong enough to KO Logan/Alma and stuff them in a bag or something as a last resort. What helps this is that professor Neil/Tyra is on our side, along with Cybil, the same one who chased after the professor. Those people are after "The Shady" directly, but our job is to sneak in, find what the warden is up to, and hopefully bust Logan/Alma out. The warden may be playing into "The Shady"'s plan. When Sirus leaves, Chronya talks to Annete, who mentions that being with Chronya makes her feel that her daughter is with her.
Now you have control, so let's take that tunnel you couldn't earlier. Go talk to Sirus. He'll recommend you to come in with Lv70 mons. He'll also point to a ceiling hole covered with a floor tile. As a result, we go to a new location. Annete shows up as you continue left, warning us of the police presence, although Chronya knows of her muscular abilities. The female prisoner there then yells at Chronya and Annete, telling us that she was the one bribed by Sirus. She believes the warden is suspicious too, and also reiterates about the police presence, not to mention their weak Growlithe Pokemon, and they will keep chasing you until you lose their sight. We don't get the prisoner's name though, but she will be a familiar character for later. Anyways, Annete leaves and we might as well go to the open doorway there.
Alright so the deal is, these officers have a Lv60 Growlithe and give P960, but if you are spotted and battle with them, you will flee and have to start over. This is a stealth mission, but it shouldn't actually be difficult to avoid the line of sight of the officers. There's a door you can access to the south, but you cannot enter it as it is locked. After that are officers who change direction, so don't run past them. Another door at the SW is also locked, and your goal is the elevator at the west end. This leads immediately to Logan/Alma's cell. A nice chat follows, and Logan/Alma will make some noise so that the officers get distracted. That way, our mission to go after the warden will go swimmingly. That distraction is Logan/Alma shouting about a break-in, how they hid themselves in their cell. Officers have a few doubts, and you'll be back at the area where all the officers are, in the SW corner. Now make your way to the middle of this area carefully, where there's an elevator and a locked door. The elevator is what we want. Seems like the office, where the tactician has asked a random stranger to release him, the same person in control of Dark Workers and for attacking Orange Village, using him to control subordinates. The warden lets the guy go, as the tactician comes up with an evil plan. The warden even mentions Logan/Alma, letting the poor kid take the blame and to execute them! The unknown guy mentions that the real "The Shady" has Viperum's blood after all, and this is where Chronya comes in, angry that they would murder Logan/Alma and get the unknown guy out of prison. We know who this guy is now, it's Lumiere, the original boss of the Dark Workers! He says he fights only for himself, having no future in prison.
Boss Lumiere: P1440 (trainer has 3x Full Restores)
Gallade Lv72, Psycho Cut, Leaf Blade, Protect, Superpower, holds Galladite • Slowking Lv70, Psychic, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, holds Twistedspoon • Lucario Lv70, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Extremespeed, Cross Chop, holds Black Belt • Magnezone Lv70, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Signal Beam, Flash Cannon, holds Magnet • Gliscor Lv71, Bounce, Earthquake, Body Slam, Rock Slide, holds Leftovers • Cinderace Lv72, Fire Punch, Hi Jump Kick, Swords Dance, Fake Out, holds Charcoal
The warden realizes that Lumiere is weak but Lumiere thinks that just because Chronya is the only one who broke into the prison, they wouldn't trust her. The warden thinks he can call officers to say that a crazy woman has broken in to release Lumiere. As easy as it seems to run, Chronya waits instead. The warden's interphone was already turned on, and Annete appears, telling him that the entire discussion the warden has had with Lumiere has been heard by everyone. Looks like it's the warden who is now in the hot seat. Lumiere recognizes Annete, and Annete tells him she never wanted to be one of the Dark Workers. Of course, Lumiere kidnapped her daughter and forced her to do the worst thing possible. Sirus comes in, telling us these two deserve much worse places to be. The warden recognizes him as Grima, while Lumiere recognizes him as Liam's son (Liam was a Dark Worker in Victory Fire and Resolute). The two will be sent to a remote prison this time, and the warden professes it was "The Shady"'s doing. Sirus even says what his darkest secret was, bribed by some prisoners to let them escape. Given that his friend Logan/Alma was put in danger, Sirus cared about what happened here, he wouldn't have a reason otherwise. With them gone, Sirus talks to Chronya and Annete. The phrase "like father, like son" shows up, and Sirus mentions the father of the warden, who was the first warden of this prison, doing the exact same thing, releasing dangerous prisoners for money. That made people think the town itself was actually haunted. A girl knew about this fifty years ago, but she was killed to hide that warden's crime. Sirus then wonders if he is to be like his father Liam, who was a Dark Worker working for a living, even if his hands are dirty. Sirus thinks that doing dirty things is alright if the purpose is morally okay, but he's fearing he might lose himself at some point. Chronya cheers him up though. Sirus will allow you to actually talk to Logan/Alma, who will move to the detention center.
The scene shifts to this moment, where Logan/Alma is happy about our successful mission. Although we still haven't caught "The Shady" yet, something the Mega Power protagonist will eventually do. In other words, Logan/Alma's name isn't cleared yet, but they're happy since the officers may have killed Logan/Alma if the warden hadn't been exposed. Chronya promises to be Logan/Alma's bodyguard at the end of all this. There is one thing Logan/Alma demands from us now, to collect the eight badges of Lande. Okay? I guess it's to help Chronya be the best trainer everywhere. Annete, Chronya, and Sirus still support Logan/Alma through all this. You'll be outside the prison, and have free reign. If you go to the prison, you can be allowed in, but the only thing you can do is to talk to Logan/Alma in the detention center, basically reiterating what was said earlier. If it isn't obvious at this point, you have no other missions at this point other than challenging gyms. So let's leave Belladonna Town now, starting with the north path.

There's no trainers here, and it's raining. There's also a weird castle, but let's ignore it for now. There's several diving spots to the north. A girl at the NW island apparently fishes up items and sells them.
Heatranite: P9000 (only if you got it in a later part of the walkthrough, see below) • Magearnite: P9000 (only if you got it in a later part of the walkthrough, see below) • Latiosite: P9000 (only if you encountered Latiosite, see below) • Net Ball: P1000 • Super Repel: P500
I took the SW diving spot, but they all lead to the same area.

Koffing: 30% • Gumshoos: 30% • Growlithe: 15% • Yungoos: 15% • Grimer: 5% • Weezing: 5%
From the SW spot, going NE leads to the spot at the NE end of the main path. Head NW of that spot to find a Pokemon nest and TM20 Safeguard. If you keep heading north and NE from here, the spot here leads to Mangrove Town. We will not actually go here yet, but we will explore the rest of this underwater cave. However, if you wish to head north to Mangrove Town and the areas around it, it's possible. Head SW, then west when you can. At the NW part of the cave is a Latiosite! Head back down and along the west wall to find the diving spot leading back to Eucheuma Path (the NW spot).
Find the Pokemon nest at the east wall and then head due west from there to find a Braille inscription reading "ANCIENT KEY USE HERE UNLOCK A CHAM TO THE FUTURE". You probably do not have the Ancient Key yet, but you will get one from a sidequest later on.
Time to check out that castle.

(old versions only): Well, it's a recycled Pokemon Mansion layout. Head north, then east when you can. South, then west for a Rare Candy on a table. Now, head all the way north.
(version 5.01 and up): The tower was replaced with a mansion, named Nemesis Castle. On the first floor, head to the west side and inspect the middle tree at the south end. There's an item there, I believe it was the Rare Candy from the previous version. On the next floor, you can actually go into the void to head into the SW room. Get to the second-to-last tile on the left side of the void, then head south six times (so you are on the last X). Head west. There's an item here too (is this the Rare Candy? I played this version and didn't see an item so I assume it was already taken).
Edit for the newest version, traverse across the "X" markings; they are in fact a puzzle that works the same way as the Ecruteak Gym. Find a path to another room by walking on the black void without falling through. You can walk on it, making sure you walk in the direct path of a brown 'x' (or as close as possible to 'direct' if the 'x' is situated diagonally across from you).
What the heck is that? Well, it attacks like a "ghost", and you can't ID it. Run from it, then Chronya realizes that this ghost is a bit hammy. Chronya then beats the "ghost" up herself! The ghost wants to keep strangers away from the master, but I guess this female master would be happy to see Chronya. Follow this ghost. When you find it, you will find that its name is Deean. The master says this is her castle and she doesn't want strangers. Also the castle is supposed to be invisible, but the magic must've worn off now. The master here is named Nemesis, she is one of the Four Hermits of Lande, and helps lost souls depart to the afterlife, or she just turns them into a Spiritomb when she has 108 of them. Nemesis found Deean in Dodder Forest and she became her servant. Also, Deean has a gym! Although most humans are cowards and can't battle in it. Nemesis then gives you a Silph Scope, allowing you to find the invisible town in Dodder Forest, wait, invisible town? If you talk to Nemesis afterwards, you can receive a Spiritomb for free. But only one. It's Lv60. And you remember that one extra entrance to the forest with the interactive tombstone? That's the place. We're done here, so we might as well go find this gym now!
The Silph Scope will allow you to go talk to Vengeful Karmina in Dodder Forest. Talk to her and use the "item". You will see Karmina's children, one last time before they disappear, as the girl's legend mentions they were poached by humans. Chronya then tells Karmina that a battle will suffice. Win and, unlike other elite mons, Karmina will automatically be yours. She is Ground/Dark, with the unique ability Malice which turns Normal moves into Dark moves. After this, keep heading north and northeast.
So go back to that other entrance of Dodder Forest and inspect the tombstone again to find "you can come in". You'll teleport.
LYCORIS TOWN
Just head down to the town itself. The town is full of lost souls, neither dead nor alive. The spring in the center is their source to stay in place. There's a healer's house functioning exactly what you expect. A guy in the SW house wants to have a Lava Cookie before departing to the afterlife. Give him what he asks to get TM50 Overheat and Leftovers. In the SE house, a sailor mentions a friend named Zac who lived in the Cyenn region. This guy apparently was looking for a certain island somewhere with Zac, but the latter got a job somewhere, and this guy must've died alone looking for that island. You get a map from this soul, which you can take to Zac. That person was in the Cyenn Logistics Center, back in Zosma Town. The soul vanishes. Before we deal with this, we got a gym to tackle. Lv71 recommended here.
Our gym guide here states that you can change the overall appearance of this gym by messing with the statues. There's a trainer immediately to the left.
PKMN Ranger Lyn: Umbreon Lv70, Galarian Weezing Lv70, Alakazam Lv71, P2556 (trainer has a Full Restore)
Use the statue behind the gym guide to find a black belt trainer with dialogue that feels like it probably belongs in a double battle.
Black Belt Lex: Skarmory Lv70, Gyarados Lv71, P1704 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
Go back to the first trainer and use the statue behind her to teleport to the part with yellow gravestones, then head up and use the statue there. East for another trainer.
Beauty Nenar: Froslass Lv70, Aerodactyl Lv71, P5112 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
Use the statue near her, then head up to another trainer.
Cooltrainer Byron: Quagsire Lv69, Cinderace Lv70, Golem Lv71, Machamp Lv71, P2556 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
From this guy, head east, south, east, and north to this statue. When you teleport, you'll reach Deean.
Leader Deean: P7200, Spook Badge, and a Zinc (trainer has 4x Full Restores)
Dragonite Lv72, Dragon Pulse, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Air Slash, holds Dragoninite • Absol Lv69, Psycho Cut, Crunch, Fake Out, Play Rough, holds Focus Band • Jellicent Lv69, Hydro Pump, Destiny Bond, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, holds Leftovers • Salazzle Lv70, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Toxic, Swagger, holds Charcoal • Mimikyu Lv71, Play Rough, Swords Dance, Curse, Shadow Punch, holds Spell Tag • Registeel Lv72, Zap Cannon, Flash Cannon, Earthquake, Explosion, holds Scope Lens
I forgot to mention, yes, you can rematch these Lande leaders, although their teams won't change. Anyways, time to leave, "Let us meet again, in the future" in other words. Time to check on our pal Zac. He's the one guarding the boats that Kasper owns, and by talking to him here, he recognizes the map that that soul (named Murray) had. Zac will invite you to journey with him to this island!

CHESTNUT TOWN
Well, we do have a gym to challenge, but the gym puzzle seems to still be under construction, so we luck out here. Anyways, visit the Adventurer's club and talk to the old man, who's not an adventurer, but rather cleans the sundial in the center of town. Which is actually a large clock tower that will be the final, final mission of the game for later. You will receive an old map from the old man. So now a mountain area is unlocked. The NW corner of town may be familiar to Mega Power players who played the special storyline, as it is the helicopter landing spot for Team Delta. Here you find two grunts who have a downed helicopter because a Swellow broke it. Talk to the grunt nearest the helicopter, he is somewhat afraid of Chronya but he's also the only engineer available to fix the helicopter, since Chloris (who normally runs the helicopters) isn't around. He lists the ingredients necessary to fix this helicopter, 1x Brightpowder, 1x Metal Coat, and a Lv3 craft skill. By this point you should be Lv3 in crafting, just bring him the items (you can buy a Metal Coat in Ebin Co., a Brightpowder can be crafted from Metal Dust and Super Repel). Return to the grunt and you will fix the helicopter. You will get a Nugget, a Dusk Ball, and a Lum Berry. Team Delta now considers you an ally. We should challenge a gym here now (Lv68 is recommended).

Now to explore that place we got the map of. It's just NE of Chestnut Town.

Recommended level: Lv68
A fairly simplistic mountain here. A hidden Fire Stone is in the NW corner. At the top of the mountain is Dialga Lv70! Next place we're going is north of Clover Path, the Welwitschia Desert!
WELWITSCHIA DESERT (SOUTH)
Mons found:
Krokorok: 20% • Krookodile: 20% • Cacnea: 10% • Cacturne: 10% • Trapinch: 10% • Vibrava: 10% • Flygon: 5% • Sigilyph: 5% • Numel: 4% • Camerupt: 4% • Gliscor: 2%
Recommended level: Lv62
This is split into a north and a south section, of which we currently are in the south section. Like with the Acamar Desert, going left or right loops around, so you just wanna head due north every time. The black belt you first see is our battle messenger (P2000).
PKMN Ranger Beth: Heliolisk Lv60, Mudsdale Lv61, Krookodile Lv62, P2232 (trainer has a Full Restore)
Up and to the left is a Rare Candy.
Hiker Lawson: Sigilyph Lv61, Golem Lv61, Marowak Lv62, P992
You'll find a campsite soon. Use it.
Camoufleur Vance: Obstagoon Lv61, Flygon Lv62, P2232
Crush Girl Jolyn: Machamp Lv61, Lucario Lv62, P1240 (both mons hold a Black Belt)
A bit NW, examine the bones to find a Revive.
Black Belt Kyubei: Machoke Lv60 (holds Black Belt), Blaziken Lv61, Hawlucha Lv62, P1488
BAOBAB CITY
Another city, right in the middle of the desert. The Adventurer's Club here doesn't have the main adventurer, but it does have a girl who gives you a shiny Sandile. The PokeCenter has a woman who describes a Cacturne called Overgrown Verena. The house NE of the PokeCenter has Steel Aguma, a person who claims to be one of the strongest trainers around. Well, maybe we should prove him wrong. Lv80 recommended. He actually says a lower level is recommended, but you should know better.
Black Belt Aguma: Audino Lv82 (holds Audinite), Skarmory Lv80, Spiritomb Lv80, Gliscor Lv80, Mimikyu Lv80, Incineroar Lv80, P1920 and a Bottle Cap (trainer has 4x Full Restores)
He even feels humiliated and downgrades to Iron Aguma. Whatever. Anyways, you can challenge him again, and he'll say that you must do a single 1-on-1 battle with him, so you have to have just one Pokemon. Of course, he's lying, and will actually battle you with the exact team of six he just had, with you having only one. You can of course humiliate him a second time, and I think you get more Bottle Caps from him each time.
Lalum is supposed to be the gym leader for this town in Mega Power, but here, the leader is actually Culter (Lv69 recommended) cause Lalum is out of town for now. A girl outside gives you TM49 Snatch. The gym is a cave layout.
Cooltrainer Colby: Swellow Lv68, Victreebel Lv68, Magnezone Lv69, Floatzel Lv69, P2484 (trainer has a Hyper Potion)
Not much to this. Take the nearest ladder and fight the next trainer.
Cooltrainer George: Gumshoos Lv68, Araquanid Lv69, Exeggutor Lv69, P2484 (trainer has a Hyper Potion)
On this floor, you probably noticed the holes and other ladders. You need to head to the rightmost hole, which means to head to the north side, then down at the NE corner. Here, push a boulder left, then the next one to the north all the way, west two, south one, west all the way, south two, west one, south two, west one, south one, west two, and north onto the switch, to remove the barrier.
Cooltrainer Tira: Alakazam Lv68, Obstagoon Lv69, P2484 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
For those who remember Culter, he was the quirky guy in Mega Power's normal storyline who recruits you as an adventurer. He's subbing for Lalum since he broke a valuable vase that belonged to Lalum.
Leader Culter: P7000, Wild Badge, and a PP Up (trainer has 4x Full Restores)
Gyarados Lv70: Crunch, Waterfall, Outrage, Bounce, holds Gyaradosite • Jolteon Lv68, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Shadow Ball, Signal Beam, holds Magnet • Machamp Lv68, Cross Chop, Earthquake, Mach Punch, Thunderpunch, holds Black Belt • Espathra Lv68, Hypnosis, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Flash Cannon, holds Twistedspoon • Skarmory Lv69, Steel Wing, Drill Peck, Protect, Toxic, holds Leftovers • Krookodile Lv70, Crunch, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Swords Dance, holds Soft Sand
Okay let's continue our desert trek! To the north we go! You will see Cyasine and Mr. Mystery talking. Cyasine wants to know where mom is. Well, Altena isn't in trouble, but she does leave the home every now and then to come to Lande. And Cyasine is trying to track her down, only to come to Mr. Mystery who knows. And well, there's a battle to take here, Lv63 recommended.
PKMN Trainer Mr. Mystery: P2304 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
Banette Lv65, Shadow Claw, Will-O-Wisp, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, holds Banettite • Bronzong Lv62, Flash Cannon, Psychic, Confuse Ray, Toxic • Flygon Lv62, Earthquake, Dragonbreath, Rock Slide, Dragon Dance • Umbreon Lv63, Dark Pulse, Moonlight, Curse, Fake Out • Musharna Lv63, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball, Psychic • Mimikyu Lv64, Play Rough, Curse, Swords Dance, Shadow Punch, holds Spell Tag
Mr. Mystery explains that Altena is here to rescue someone, and Mr. Mystery is also here to rescue that person. It's a pirate from the Valo region, Altena's long lost sister for that matter. And also the aunt of Chronya and Cyasine and Mr. Mystery's possible girlfriend. Both he and Altena did receive a letter. Chronya does mention that the aunt they are talking about is someone who she thought was dead. Yet the letter Mr. Mystery got has the aunt's handwriting. The desired destination is Miscanthus Town, and he flies off. After a talk with Cyasine, she goes off as well. Best to prepare before we make our way there. So let's keep heading north.

Hiker Reck: Steelix Lv60, Marowak Lv61, Sandslash Lv62, P2232
A little to the right after the sand is the elite Cacturne known as Overgrown Verena (Lv83). Beat it to get a Leaf Stone. At the north end you will see Gladion again, battling and beating Pandroa. Pandroa says she's reminded of Chronya, well, we are here right now. Gladion and Silvally have more to come, so Lv65 is recommended.
PKMN Trainer Gladion: P1584 (trainer has 3x Full Restores)
Lucario Lv66, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Extremespeed, Brick Break, holds Lucarionite • Crobat Lv64, Fly, Poison Fang, X-Scissor, Steel Wing • Charizard Lv64, Air Slash, Flamethrower, Earthquake, Outrage • Weavile Lv65, Ice Punch, Slash, Brick Break, Crunch, holds Focus Band • Venusaur Lv65, Petal Dance, Sludge Bomb, Earthquake, Outrage • Silvally Lv66, Crunch, Crush Claw, X-Scissor, Surf, holds Leftovers
Pandroa leaves to head to Ceratoides Town, wishing to meet there. Gladion will continue training, and when ready, will be at the Battle Department.
There's a campsite up ahead, and a battle messenger too (P1950). There's a scientist near the north exit as well that coughs and will give you TM37 Sandstorm. To the next route!

There's no PokeCenter here. Instead you have the Ceratoides Inn, which you can rest for free. There's nothing much else of real interest around this area, but the town is separated by a huge staircase and waterfalls, which is a neat touch. In fact, you need to climb the left waterfall in order to get to the Adventurer's Club here. The girl inside talks about an island to the east, which unlocks a new area to explore! We'll get to it in a moment, let's see the gym first. As you head up to Ceratoides' gym, you'll see Effie talking with another person. She immediately identifies this as Jove, one of the hermits, who happens to also be a lawyer of some sort, coming here from Ivara while Keija (who must be another hermit) came from Tyron. After Jove flies away, Chronya talks to Effie. We're still collecting badges, but Effie has also sighted Pandroa here. Anyways, time to move up. Pandroa is standing outside the gym, having won the badge already. You're recommended to battle with Lv68 mons here.
PKMN Trainer Pandroa: P1104 (trainer has 4x Full Restores)
Aggron Lv69, Earthquake, Meteor Mash, Protect, Rock Slide, holds Aggronite • Lanturn Lv67, Thunder Wave, Confuse Ray, Hydro Pump, Recover • Breloom Lv67, Spore, Seed Bomb, Brick Break, Body Slam • Cinderace Lv68, Fire Punch, Brick Break, Swords Dance, Dig • Arbok Lv69, Toxic, Glare, Iron Tail, Poison Jab • Lapras Lv69, Ice Beam, Perish Song, Thunderbolt, Surf
She wanted to battle so that she could return to Valo, reclaiming what was lost. Though because of that she was more lonely. Chronya's more like a friend, while Nelson's more like a mentor. Now for the gym (Lv69 recommended). Kellam's gym is a maze, but there's no other tricks to it. I'll list the trainers left to right, and the paths which have the first and third trainers are the paths that lead to Kellam.

If you decided to go north from Mangrove Town to Gloiopeltis Path, you will find an island which may have Mr. Mystery and Cyasine on it. This is the same event as the one at the north end of Baobab City, in case you decided to go this way instead of that way. You will still have to battle Mr. Mystery and he will have the same team as the one in Baobab City. The battle messenger here charges P680. You've got a bit of a water maze here but other than trainers there's really not much to this route.

There's really not a lot to this town. In Mega Power, there would have been Hermit's Hill, and Asura is one of the hermits who is also the gym leader here. Effie is talking to him right now in front of the gym. Apparently his gym puzzles have burnt down. He has to leave his gym to go be one of the Hermits, and a woman named Arc will be the gym leader to atone for the destruction her Pokemon caused. Asura even mentions that you only need to battle one gym trainer before battling the leader Arc in this case. The two fly off. The Adventurer's Club is at the east end of the town. The sole hiker here gives you a story of an island southeast of this town and the scary Pokemon that was on it. The gym recommends Lv73. It's a standard gym with a simple maze but lots of trainers. Again, you only need to challenge one trainer.

As always, the first person you meet is the battle messenger (P1500).
We'll go north first, but then after this trainer we'll head back to the west.
Lass Dalia: Audino Lv64, Glaceon Lv64, Alolan Raichu Lv65, Jumpluff Lv65, P1040
Back and going to the west, you'll find a campsite. One of the bridge guards, Lamar, is here. He's on a Pokedex completing mission and has caught 149 mons so far. If you have more than he does (so at least 150), he'll award you with a PP Max and a Gold Cap. To the south is a Rare Candy. Swim across the pond and head NW.
PKMN Ranger Marcy: Lurantis Lv64, Lopunny Lv65, Ampharos Lv66, P2376
NW is Polygonum Path, so remember that. We're heading north now towards the next town, so swim NE across the nearby pond.
Cooltrainer Eli: Sawsbuck Lv65, Cinderace Lv66, P2376 (trainer has 2x Hyper Potions)
GRACILIPES CITY
A big town with a gym, pretty cool. The leader, Fransizka, isn't around though. The house to the right has a girl who gives you TM45 Attract. Right of that building is the Adventurer's Club. Head upstairs there, a person mentions that something attacked their brethren near Miscanthus Town. The home SE has a spy from the Valo Empire who's here safely, but you can get TM46 Thief from her. Where's Fransizka? She's not in the NW house, which is hers, but rather in front of a larger building which is on sale! She's also talking to Nicole. Fransizka knows of Chronya because of Sirus. And Nicole and Chronya are here for the same reason, while Fransizka believes Logan/Alma is also innocent. It could also be a good place for Logan/Alma to stay. However, only one person can have this house, so Fransizka wants both Chronya and Nicole to battle for it (Lv70 recommended)!
PKMN Trainer Nicole: P1136 (trainer has 4x Full Restores)
Lucario Lv71, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, Rock Slide, Cross Chop, holds Lucarionite Z • Pidgeot Lv70, Drill Peck, Heat Wave, Supersonic, Fake Out, holds Sharp Beak • Dragonite Lv70, Dragon Claw, Fly, Thunder Wave, Body Slam, holds Dragon Fang • Vaporeon Lv70, Hydro Pump, Acid Armor, Protect, Ice Beam, holds Leftovers • Alolan Marowak Lv71, Fire Punch, Shadow Punch, Rock Slide, Earthquake, holds Thick Club • Zacian Lv71, Earthquake, Play Rough, Iron Head, Swords Dance, holds Metal Coat
Chronya gets to own the house once you win! But Nicole gets a Master Ball, argh. Anyways, doing this will allow Fransizka to return to her gym, so now we can challenge her. Nicole will wish Chronya luck here too. The house is empty for now, so let's go to another gym! Same level recommendation by the way. The Pikachus you see here are statues that send you back to the start if you get in their field of vision. The Poke Ball statues change their facing. The best way to deal with this is to simply let the Pikachu statues face left or right and go through the middle, avoiding their sight, but I'll still list the trainers left to right.

Yes you can catch fully-evolved Kanto starters here! But aside from that, you just want to get to the middle of the island which should be extremely easy. It's Mewtwo! It looks like it was Mewtwo who kidnapped the adventurers. The one trainer in front of Mewtwo is brainwashed and challenges Chronya.
Cooltrainer ???: Jellicent Lv68, Cherrim Lv68, Sandslash Lv69, Obstagoon Lv69, P2484 (trainer has 4x Full Restores)
Following this, the brainwashed girl steps aside, and Mewtwo now challenges you at Lv70! You can catch it of course. Doing this of course frees the adventurers! You're done here! After saving the adventurers from Gracilipes City, return to the Adventurer's Club and talk to a woman on the second floor to receive a Bottle Cap.

In the Adventurer's Club, a girl has a strange egg. This will hatch into a shiny Keldeo! The house where the Miscanthus gym is is currently locked. Head south to the docks (Lv67 recommended) and talk to Pandroa and Cyasine. Seems Mr. Mystery has told Pandroa about what's going on. We need to swim or surf west of here to find out where the long lost aunt is. There's a new area (the mons here are the same as before in the water, except now Huntail is a 4% super rod encounter and Gorebyss is a 1% super rod encounter. Anyways, we have to battle Dark Workers.
Dark Worker Grunt: Poliwrath Lv63, Sableye Lv64, Krookodile Lv64, P1536 (trainer has a Hyper Potion)
Take the middle current, swim across and up, and take the NW current. Take the small current going west and land on the next island.
Dark Worker Grunt: Beedrill Lv63, Machamp Lv64, Sigilyph Lv64, Araquanid Lv65, P1560 (trainer has a Full Restore)
Dark Worker Grunt: Bastiodon Lv65, Medicham Lv65, P1560 (trainer has a Hyper Potion)
Swim up to the boat and enter it. A Dark Worker is battling someone here. Head west to the bow to see your friends and family battling more Dark Workers along with three others. Plus the familiar servant from so long ago. She is up against someone named Miredy, the target who escaped 24 years ago. Chronya is here to spoil the plan and the servant wants to get funded. Servant here is so hellbent on her mission to impress Viperum as usual, but it's time for another battle.
Dark Worker Servant: P1608 (trainer has 2x Full Restores)
Alakazam Lv69, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Shock Wave, holds Alakazite • Ninjask Lv66, Aerial Ace, X-Scissor, Double Team, Toxic • Gliscor Lv66, Poison Fang, Earthquake, Stun Spore, Fly • Farigiraf Lv67, Psychic, Body Slam, Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray • Obstagoon Lv67, Crunch, Bulk Up, Brick Break, Slash • Froslass Lv67, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Fire Punch, Hypnosis
Yep, she calls Chronya a stupid female Machamp. And she's still mad that she can never impress Viperum. Chronya tells her that she only likes herself and that she abandoned her own child and the servant wants to say that that child was useless. A petty tantrum later, all of the Dark Workers leave. Miredy congratulates you for the win, almost giving the real name of Mr. Mystery away and being introduced to Altena's family and Pandroa. Pandroa actually realizes that Miredy is the well-known Ocean Phantom, the most infamous pirate of the Valo Empire. Being a pirate is costly for her though, since they tried to buy off Miredy's crew. This is why she sent letters to Mr. Mystery and Altena. And even then, Altena is supposed to be considered dead, as Bruce helped her fake her death, so the whole mystery of how the letter ended up in Altena's hands and why she's here is also solved, because she was at home in Monolith Town when it happened.
Miredy confirms everyone who was with the previous Valo emperor had died, except her. She was injured and fell into the water in a similar way Chronya did in her adventure, but in her case, she ended up in the care of pirates. A Sharpedo had also once bitten her leg which jogged her memory and made her remember again. At this point, Altena questions what Miredy will do next. The boat is a total mess and she cannot return to Valo. Mr. Mystery has contacted the Lande League, in the hopes that Miredy can be the leader here, having prepared a house for her and her current crew (the other two with Miredy). And yes, Miredy was Mr. Mystery's former girlfriend. When he heard that Miredy supposedly died, he then reasoned it was Viperum, and that he would befriend the estranged husband Kasper, helping him and another child escape, which Chronya finds out is the reason why he helped Team Delta out in Cyenn University. Miredy will go ahead and start a new life in Miscanthus Town. Perhaps this damaged boat can be a future gym soon? Mr. Mystery states that a secret cave under the house can work. Miredy will accept, but will make her maid Bud be the temporary leader as she still needs to repair her boat. She and Barts will be the leaders for now. Once they leave, Miredy tells Mr. Mystery not to be shy, so he says it, he wants to try again, maybe get the relationship restarted. A party is started as a result, offscreen of course. Chronya talks to Miredy afterwards. Mr. Mystery will look for more repair materials to support Miredy, and in the meantime, Bud and Barts have finished the temporary one. Time to return to Miscanthus Town and check out that new gym.
There's now a girl at the Miscanthus Town beach who is in front of a ship. Her name is Keija, and you can be taken to Prophet Palace if you have 8 badges. Head to the beach and find a tablet on the wall to the NW. In Braille, this reads ANCIENT KEY USE HERE UNLOCK A CAVE TO THE PAST. You cannot enter here yet, we'll need the item that is aptly named the Ancient Key, which we won't have until after we get through the Sevii Islands portion and finish the Pandroa sidequest. Read further below for that. Well, we do have one more gym to go, and it's right here (Lv70 recommended)! Enter the back cave and we're swimming through some currents for this badge!
Swimmer Allison: Dragonair Lv68, Jellicent Lv69, Lanturn Lv70, P280
Take the up current at the right side up. Head west, avoiding currents, then take a down current. Land there. For some reason I had to talk to this next trainer to battle him.
Swimmer Gai: Pelipper Lv69, Breloom Lv70, P280
Swim on the left-facing current immediately behind him, then swim west onto a southbound current. Land to the left. This is Barts.
Cooltrainer Barts: Aggron Lv71 (holds Aggronite), Ribombee Lv68, Ampharos Lv69, Obstagoon Lv70, P2520 (trainer has 3x Full Restores)
Now swim to the north at the center and you should reach Bud.

You'll learn more about the hermits here. The one named Jove is a judge in Ivara's court. We already met Keija who ferried us here, but she's also a commander of the Tyron Pokemon Rangers. The others are Asura, already mentioned by Arc and others in Mangrove Town, and Nemesis, who you met earlier. A hiker at the NE side requires both a Lande Medal and an Ace Ribbon. Well, we'll be getting the Lande Medal soon enough. Swim across the easternmost pond to find TM48 Skill Swap. At the west side of the main area is an elite Pokemon and a person. This is Hayato, one of the Defenders of Nashira Village, who you may have challenged before. The elite Pokemon is Prophet Kyubi, an elite Ninetales, who Hayato wants to have return to his hometown, since that Pokemon has helped build his town and Hayato also knows the story of Kyubi. Once he leaves, Kyubi then speaks about going to that hometown, but will stay here at the moment. You can then challenge Kyubi by talking again (Lv99). You will win a Bottle Cap.
At the south end of the area are three different pathways going right, down, and left. We'll start at the right side. The end of this path has Uxie Lv70! Now head back and take the south path. There's a diving spot here. Taking it just takes you straight to the next mythical, Mesprit Lv70! Now to the left side! When you reach the rock, well, how do you get up there? Well, you just shoot the tree down and then you can automatically scale the wall to encounter Azelf Lv70! Alright, we're all done with the exploration of this island. Try to enter the palace and who should surprise you but...Miredy? Turns out she snuck onboard Keija's boat. She'll give you a Magearnite, and tell you that yes, you use it for Magearna. We'll be getting one later. Let's go challenge our four hermits! It's set up a bit like the Elite Four in Wind's previous rom hacks, where you can select which one you can battle. Once you're ready, enter the hall and we'll go left to right. Our first hermit is Asura, the Guardian of Power!

After you finish with the last hermit, whichever it is, you can now enter the middle room, known as the Room of Honor. Here, you'll meet Effie, who as you expected, managed to get here before you did. Having beaten the hermits before you, she feels like a current league champion. And now we have the final battle in the Lande region right here.

Beating Effie will have you exchange your Lande badges for the Lande Medal! Once more you can skip the end credits as you wish, but you conquered the Lande region! We've still got more on our plate though.
Remember how Chronya promised Logan/Alma that she would get all 8 badges in this league? Well, time to head back to National Prison to deliver the news! While Chronya does not get Alma out, the game decides to skip one month into the future. In other words, we are now at the time past when Pokemon Mega Power took place, and we are now seeing Chronya and a free Logan/Alma in the home in Gracilipes City! They reminisce over the events that have occurred. Just then, another former protagonist shows up, it's Iron/Pure from Victory Fire! Much like the Mega Power protagonist, the gender of the Victory Fire protagonist is dependent entirely on the gender of the Resolute protagonist, so Iron for Logan and Pure for Alma. Iron/Pure is a champion of Eastern Tyron before Uranium was, as well as the manager of the Battle Department back on Spiral Island and the owner of Victini! After Iron/Pure leaves, we're excited about going to the Battle Department, so we want to bring some friends. Since professor Neil/Tyra is an ally by this point, we can go to the Team Delta base to meet them! In other words, that one hideout on Betel Path we couldn't enter earlier.
BETEL PATH (REVISITED)
Fly to Chestnut Town and head to the hideout. Right at the entrance, Annete stops you. Annete's here because Eliza told her to ask for professor Neil/Tyra's help. Eliza thinks that professor Neil/Tyra can help cure Elluce; obviously Eliza's busy elsewhere so we have Annete helping out. Now you can enter the hideout. Take the elevator downstairs. Team Delta is friendly nowadays, thanks to the leadership of the new leaders: Cybil, Absolve, and professor Neil/Tyra. The first three rooms don't have anything, and the restaurant is the SE door. Talk to the chef to get TM01 Focus Punch. The meeting hall is the SW door. You'll see Annete talking to the new Golden Trio. Seems she's done talking, but Absolve detects a little familiarity! Professor Neil/Tyra gives Annete an injection that can wake up Elluce. Not only that, but it could change her form. The professor surmises that Elluce was supposed to be like Eliza after all. Annete has a bit of concern with this, since we can't tell if Elluce will reach her full extent. Annete denies any connection with Absolve, and she goes to Chronya, who overheard the conversation. Annete will be at Orange Village, hopefully Eliza is there too. At this point, Chronya goes up to the new Golden Trio, with a happy Absolve greeting her, with the professor bribing her for ruining the plot twist and such. Anyways, Chronya invites the group to the Battle Department. While the professor wants to know if the others are willing, they already are, so it's decided. You're done here.
If you are interested in the Mega Power episode, go down to [B401] as the episode should be available by now.
Anyways, while the Battle Department is open, we're not going there just yet. This will actually be covered in the other document of mine. You can still challenge Eliza there, and also even talk to Iron/Pure without challenging people or talking to the host to figure out the rules. I'll talk about the rules by the time we get there though. For now, we should fly back to Orange Village to check up on Elluce. Back in the memorial, the downstairs corridor is open, and you'll see Eliza, Uranium, and Annete, with Elluce in bed. Eliza and Annete congregate on what to do. Eliza still doesn't know much about Elluce, but in any case, she decides it's best to wake Elluce up. We don't know what'll happen, but it's a decision Eliza makes. The injection changes Elluce's appearance, and it's quite similar to Eliza! Not strange according to Eliza, as she was supposed to be like Eliza from the beginning. Elluce does talk, but just scorns Eliza, which doesn't matter all that much. Even more, she somehow still heard everything Eliza was saying earlier. Thankfully, she's not gonna attack us, but will confess she was the one who killed Vertice. Is she guilty for killing others though? No, not at all, she was raised to be a heartless killer. In any case, it seems she is actually free now, and Eliza even mentions the button she stole, which was integral in locking "The Shady" up. Elluce does want you all to remember what the letter even said either, since she never died from a bomb. And she's a warrior Pokemon now, so she can't even be sent to a prison cell. She does need a job though. Uranium leaves at this point, and so does Annete, who goes to help Sirus. Eliza and Elluce do nothing but argue here, and Chronya decides it is probably best to leave. Do so, come back, and talk to Elluce, she needs some time to think about a possible job. Leave and reenter the room and talk to her again. And she decides she's joining your team! She comes in at Lv75, Dark/Psychic with the Trace ability. Powerful! But we're obviously not done yet. We still haven't explored any of the Sevii Islands, and the Battle Department is also under consideration. Let's start our conquest of the Sevii Islands!
