This will be a strict text walkthrough of the rom hack featuring what you need to do to get through the game as well as the trainers and their Pokemon. And always, expect spoilers in this walkthrough. You have been warned. Also I should say, I did not play the Hacksrepairman fix of this until a bit later, so expect some major issues if you also are playing the unfixed version 1.2. I highly recommend playing the Hacksrepairman fix, because if you don't, you'll never be able to access the Elite Four in this game.

Table of Contents

Yeah, the title screen is screwed up, and they acknowledge this in the intro. After you name your character the game does something different. A man who resembles Noland is advertising Black Mesa Research. Yeah, that one from the Half-Life games. We hear about Pokemon evolution from this advertisement. The thing being advertised is called Zydrate. So now the scene shifts to home where Mom is talking about a loss you had, some Pokemon named Miki I'm assuming. We also have a disappeared dad, where we don't know where the guy actually is, thankfully he's not confirmed dead. Now you get control. You can't set the clock, Super Smash Bros Melee is in the Gamecube, and the book is a Death Note reference. The PC only has an email from the trainer's school. Head downstairs. Try to leave and mom will stop you, giving you...HM01 Cut!

GLITCH: The bag (at least the female bag) is glitched in sprite if you go to other pockets.

By the way, check your trainer card. You automatically have the eighth badge. I'm gonna assume that if we have in-game trades, this will keep them in obedience.

Upon leaving, a guy is inspecting what looks like Skitty, then comes over to you. It doesn't matter what choice you pick, but here the guy explains, as Pokemon seem to be dying randomly, which is what happened to the Skitty. The guy then reveals his name as Cole Phelps, which seems to be a character from L.A. Noire. Before he leaves, he tells you not to get involved in what is going on. There are some people out here, including a lady who will heal you (which is interesting if you talk to her without any Pokemon). The guy near the sign gives you the Running Shoes. To the west is Vision Tunnel, which we'll need Surf to go to. Most of the houses and people here seem to be references to other ROM hacks or ROM hackers. The NW house has three starter Pokemon, Cyndaquil, Treecko, and Squirtle owned by a dude named Dabuz. You can pick one for a favor, and it will hold an item for you (the one that boosts moves of the starter's type) and it's at Lv15. After picking it, he'll ask you to ask a girl to date him. Too shy to do it himself. Try to leave to the north to see a guy named Fatal. He's basically a rival and he finds a Dunsparce he thought was dead, and gives it to you for P500. You actually are forced to buy it. It comes with a Repel, Lv12, and is already named Rocky (but it is under your name).

LAZY TOWN — Where hospitality is unrivaled

You'll learn from a guy named Bizkit that there is a Unity Ruleset Committee. This has the best trainers in the Scimetri region and tells you that some gyms are considered uncertified. Go up to find Fatal again.

  • MLG Pro: Fatal: Bagon Lv15 (Tackle, Growl, Pound, Leer, holds Oran Berry) — P60

You can't go NW because two idiots are trying to see if a Wooper likes them. Okay then.

The woman you need to talk to is in the left house at the NE end. She of course tells you to tell him to go away. Go back to Dabuz and pick either choice and that is the end of this event. Head back to Lazy Town and the Wooper guys are gone. Enter the house near the gym and talk to Susie, who will give you three Moomoo Milks for taking the league challenge. Enter the gym and talk to the guy, his name is Inui and he tells you right off the bat they use Ghost types here. Well, that's wrong, these trainers all use the Normal type.

  • Gym Follower Ivan: Stantler Lv13, Eevee Lv14, Slakoth Lv14 — P392

The gate doesn't open. How to open it? Go to the statue west of Inui and you will open the way.

  • Gym Follower Hoo-Hah: Aipom Lv18 — P504
  • Gym Follower Ned: Porygon Lv18 (Sharpen, Tackle, Conversion) — P504

The switch that you need is next to the last gym follower, opening the way NW.

  • Gym Follower Dale: Rattata Lv16, Sentret Lv16, Zigzagoon Lv16 — P448

You can't head through the door there, the guy won't let you, but there's a statue that has a switch you can use. Head back to the second gym follower and go through to find Darwin. The CEO of Black Mesa and also the gym leader here.

  • Gym Leader Darwin: P1600, Scientology Badge, TM43 Secret Power
    • Porygon Lv18 (Sharpen, Defense Curl, Tri Attack, Tackle)
    • Eevee Lv18 (Bounce, Scratch, Defense Curl)
    • Ditto Lv20 (Transform)
    • Voltorb Lv16 (Sonicboom, Tackle, Screech)

There's an abandoned gym up ahead. It's completely derelict, but there are some hidden items. A rock to the west contains a Full Heal. At the NW end, one of the rocks has an Ultra Ball, and further to the east, a rock there contains a Star Piece. Leave and continue east.

GLITCH: Yeah, the PokeCenter looks wrong, especially on the outer walls. But it gets worse. If you attempt to go down the escalator, you will for some reason enter a house, and leaving the house does send you to New Gotham, but it's filled with snow. I don't believe you are supposed to do any of this.

None of the houses have anything of interest, so enter the gym to see a long line of challengers. Three hours later, Inui mentions that it has snowed outside, but we might as well challenge the leader considering there's nothing else in this gym besides Adam. I wonder why his title isn't gym leader though? Anyways, he doesn't have a specified type.

  • Former Champ Adam Gibson: P25536, Homesick Badge, TM02 Dragon Claw
    • Dugtrio Lv24 (Dig, Slash, Agility, Bulk Up, holds Soft Sand)
    • Magneton Lv26 (Thunderbolt, Light Screen, Swift, Supersonic, holds Magnet)
    • Hitmontop Lv24 (Triple Kick, Agility, Fury Attack, Pursuit, holds Sitrus Berry)
    • Espeon Lv28 (Psybeam, Thunder Wave, Confusion, Signal Beam, holds Twistedspoon)

This badge lets you use Surf, but you don't have that yet. When you leave, tragedy seems to happen in the snowed-in town, as a kid's Pichu and another's Marilland (she named her Marill after the Youtuber). In comes a detective, none other than Castle's very own Rick Castle of ARPD. He wants you to help him, first let's interrogate some residents as to the happenings of the Pokemon here. Pick any option other than the last one (which just repeats the info). Now you have a job to do. Talk to every person, including in the PokeMart. They'll usually tell you something useless. So after talking to everyone, return to Castle and he'll give you HM03 Surf. Convenient. Anyways, you can do some things with Surf, and can even return to the previous route to see the mons have changed.

GLITCH: You can also use Waterfall, although you don't have the HM yet, you do have the badge that allows for Waterfall and can catch a wild Goldeen or Seaking to use it with. While handy, the only place to use Waterfall as of right now is that one house on New Gotham. If you try to enter it, the game either softlocks or completely resets, regardless of the weather outside. So this house above the waterfall doesn't have anything of note.

I went all the way back to Kokiri Town and into Vision Tunnel. This tunnel seems to connect to the remaining routes on the map, but at the present you can only use Surf as far as you can. The next cave exit leads to Route 16, which we'll cover soon enough. Also, going to James Woods and coming back actually resets the winter weather, to go back to it, you can take the escalator in the PokeCenter (yeah I said not to, but this is the way to get different mons for the same routes) or enter the gym and head back out. Head north from New Gotham to reach The Crossroads.

TOWN OF GREENWICH — The One Percent

Enter the house before moving on. Say Yes when talking to one person to get HM06 Rock Smash. Now try to move past the guard.

GLITCH: Do not talk to the guard from the side, or the game softlocks.

A trainer ID is not a valid ID, who would have thought. Cole Phelps saves the day, calling himself Jake Steel and you (your name) Steel. He also mentions that there are two parts of this region: Angelos and Gotham. And we are in Angelos at the moment. He also talks about the Evolutionists. But they are not responsible for Pokemon deaths it seems, and victims in this case are free of injury. But rather, that advertised drug known as Zydrate, which came out two weeks ago, coinciding with the time of the first deaths. He then mentions Liberty City, where many Evolutionists are, and that they will attack you there, plus he'll deal with the deaths. Leave the building, you are just outside where the guards were (again, don't talk to the first guard or the game softlocks). Anyways, a guy nearby will say that no normal houses can be entered, and that someone who looks like him will be in front of houses you can enter. Like the one to the west. But it leads to a glitched version of Petalburg so avoid it (if you are playing the Hacksrepairman fix, this leads to a "debug room" which is safe to enter and exit although it has nothing inside). Same with the house to the west. There's a statue of a Gyarados to the north. Another house to the east shouldn't be accessed, and the harbor to the north has nothing.

    • Combusken Lv28 (Jump Kick, Fire Punch, Sky Attack, Stomp)

Now you can enter.

GLITCH: Please do not use the escalator, it leads to an inescapable house.

The gym to the left is Bradley's gym, but we're not going to enter yet. Head SW and enter the big museum-like house, which is hinkage's. One of the people here gives you TM27 Return but there's nothing else besides neat things to look at here. Outside of the house, head behind it and find a Rare Candy behind the roof. Nothing else in here, let's try the gym. A silence is present as you enter. When you enter, something thrashes about. Go through the floor maze to the other side. Use the lever, as there's nothing else here. A ghost appears and you'll be in an area called "new". Your character sprite will look darker and the person here will cause the music and snow to stop. Head east (there's nothing else here) and talk to the man. It's a monologue. Try to leave now. More monologue shows up. Eventually you'll be back in the gym, now with someone inside. This is Bradley Uppercrust III, the leader. He apologizes as he only meant to mildly scare you but you passed out. So there are supposed to be more puzzles, but he'll battle you here instead of dealing with another puzzle. He's a Dark type specialist.

  • Gym Leader Bradley: P3200, Preppy Badge, TM30 Shadow Ball

  • Pedophile? Pablo: Wartortle Lv30, Weepinbell Lv29 — P1856

To the west is Mesa Residentials, let's head east for a bit first.

GLITCH: For some reason, the north fence is interactable, though I don't believe you can go past it nor does it do anything.

Cole Phelps is outside, waiting for his partner to infiltrate the building behind the fence, the same one you can't enter. The Cycling Road thing here can be walked on, but let's just detour to Mesa Residentials now.

MESA RESIDENTIALS

This place is actually a glitchy mess! There's not one house that you can enter that won't enter the glitchy version of Petalburg, aside from the PokeCenter. In fact, this really is the only place you can enter. You try to enter the small stadium, it softlocks. Head back on Route 10 and take the walkway to battle Fatal again.

  • MLG Pro: Fatal: P128 (all mons hold a King's Rock)
    • Pupitar Lv32 (Crunch, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Sand-Attack)
    • Shelgon Lv35 (Screech, Body Slam, Headbutt, Dragonbreath)
    • Starmie Lv33 (Surf, Thunderbolt, Psybeam, Reflect)
    • Combusken Lv32 (Jump Kick, Fire Punch, Low Kick, Thrash)

Off he goes, and I mean actually goes and glitches under the bridge. This game is falling apart. Head north.

LIBERTY CITY

Mart wares are currently the same as the Town of Greenwich.

Four more houses you cannot enter and we've got roadblocks in people chanting. These are the Evolutionists that Cole was talking about by the way. As you head west a dude bumps into you, but he's in a hurry and won't do anything. As always the PokeCenter is accessible. You can head down the slope, but to get back, you need to surf south back to Route 10 to head back the way you came. Or, and more specifically if you don't have your surfer, you can talk to the "chuckster". Say yes and you'll be back up. You need to head behind the PokeCenter to proceed (there's three more buildings you can't enter). As you can tell, basically every building except the PokeCenter and PokeMart is going to be off-limits, including the casino at the top (but in that case the casino is just blocked by some guy). If you talk to people, you can battle two of them. They are the two older ones just outside of the chanters.

  • Evolutionist Reginald: Lunatone Lv28 — P560
  • Evolutionist Emmy: Solrock Lv28 — P560

You have to beat both, any order is fine, but this is how you remove the chanters and access the middle of town, where we can now enter the gym. When you enter, you'll see that the gym is about to be closed, but this doesn't matter, let's head north to see six people. Talk to either of the first two, and you'll realize all of these people are one and the same, juice.Gaming. You will fight one of these six entities, the one that looks like Tucker and is called juice.Doom. His type speciality is Poison.

  • Gym Leader juice.Doom: P3800, Joisey Badge, TM19 Giga Drain
    • Tentacruel Lv34 (Spikes, Surf, Sludge Bomb, Toxic)
    • Roselia Lv36 (Grasswhistle, Ingrain, Sludge Bomb, Nature Power)
    • Swalot Lv36 (Sludge Bomb, Stockpile, Swallow, Toxic)
    • Muk Lv38 (Sludge Bomb, Iron Defense, Poison Gas, Minimize, holds White Herb)

While it says you can now use Waterfall outside of battle, I've been able to use it since the beginning, as long as I had Goldeen/Seaking.

It's not really clear where to go next, as despite what I said, there's nothing interesting about any of the waterfalls we've seen so far. Plus, Liberty City is actually a dead end city, as there's nowhere else to leave the city but the way you came. But hey, Cole Phelps is still waiting on his partner, but now that you have a fourth badge, he thinks you can be the new partner in his quest. After a briefing, plus a random bug catcher noticing you both hopping the fence (who was a bug catcher in this hack previously?), you're in a building (and Cole is colored differently). Don't leave, as you'll be dumped into the water. All the crates have Zydrate in them, but Cole also notices that no one is around. Go upstairs and a guard notices, while asking who you are, Cole also arrives but smoothly talks things out, calling himself Jack Daniels and that you are his brother (this is even if you are playing as a female), here to visit the uncle, Sam Adams. The guard doesn't buy it. The guard gets more of them, and Cole decides to actually run. And yeah, the guards all run after Cole, with the first one we see also going, but not before saying someone will deal with you. Which is just so strange for security guards to do. There's one straggler near the next set of steps, go battle him.

And the last set of steps leads to the rooftop. As we know from the intro, Darwin is the leader of Black Mesa, and as you might expect, he's the only one on this rooftop, having expected your arrival. Or rather Cole Phelps, but you showed up instead. Doesn't matter, Darwin reveals he is behind what's been happening to Pokemon deaths, but not directly, he just profits off of it with that Zydrate product. Time for a battle.

  • Mesa C.E.O. Darwin: P7600
    • Feraligatr Lv38 (Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam, Surf, Scary Face)
    • Electrode Lv40 (Thunderbolt, Light Screen, Rollout, Reflect)
    • Altaria Lv40 (Dragon Dance, Aerial Ace, Outrage)
    • Flygon Lv45 (Earthquake, Dragonbreath, Fly)
    • Arcanine Lv38 (Extremespeed, Rest, Heat Wave, Crunch, holds Lum Berry)

A Pokemon battle loss isn't going to deter him from attempting to murder you now. But in comes that bug catcher, who's actually Adam Gibson, the other gym leader you remember. But he's here to get Darwin's autograph. In the middle of the distraction comes Cole Phelps flying in. He's already lined the building with explosives, and now you both fly. You'll be back on the ground soon, then you'll be back at Cole's place. Talk to him for a debriefing. There's not much else to do here, so let's leave too. Now what? Try the harbor. It's Rick Castle again. He's asking you if you want to go to Dead Island with him. Say yes, and say goodbye to Chapter 2. But beware, this is technically a point of no return. If there's anything you wish to do before saying yes, in any of the previous locales already covered, get to it before taking the boat.

Chapter 3: GTFO of the Angelos Region

DEAD ISLAND — The trailer was nothing like the game, and everyone was let down.

This place certainly seems dead, not a lot of activity and this time you definitely cannot enter houses. At the PokeMart, the wares are the same as before, but there's a fisherman who also functions as a different shop.

There's a weird cave in the middle, but there's literally nothing inside. Yeah, it's a rectangular cave with not even Pokemon encounters. There is a gym here, and it's a simple gym. You're up against Leon Kennedy, who is using Steel types (Inui in the beginning is lying, Leon does not use Flying types).

  • Gym Leader Leon: P3400, Zombie Badge, TM23 Iron Tail
    • Forretress Lv32 (Spikes, Toxic, Rock Slide, Rain Dance)
    • Metagross Lv45 (Meteor Mash, Double Team, Psychic, Earthquake)
    • Scizor Lv32 (Steel Wing, Agility, Swords Dance, Silver Wind)
    • Aggron Lv34 (Earthquake, Iron Defense, Iron Tail, Flamethrower)

This is considered the second badge. Not that using Flash is going to be necessary going forward. Head north from Dead Island, surfing on Route 19. Which actually has nothing in it at all. No trainers, no encounters, just a straightforward route leading up.

And so a man blocks the way to the cave. Saying that we're not in Scimetri anymore, but you can visit other nations, if only their borders were open. Well, there's nothing else here! But I will note that you can get encounters even outside of the grass for some reason.

So upon backtracking, going to the harbor on Dead Island reveals that the boat left without you. What now? Talk to that guy who had the extra mart wares (he's the fisherman near the mart), and you'll ride his boat instead. I should mention, taking this boat is a point of no return, not that there was much in Dead Island and surrounding areas to begin with, but you will not be able to return to any previous areas after taking the fisherman's boat.

(I believe the black belt near the satanist is supposed to be a trainer to battle but I couldn't battle him)

Go through the gate to reach a place known as Lake Chad. No Pokemon once again for this place. But there's an item in the middle island, a Max Elixir. Enter the cave to the east. It's called SmashOr Pass, and surprise, there's NOTHING here either! Just go straight east.

Yeah, so the guy right by the cave entrance says that Igglybuff is super powerful. This is an obvious lie. A bunch of buildings in this city that are either inaccessible or take you to a broken map. There's also two gyms here. At the south gym, go to the alley between the two gray buildings to the north and pick up a Rare Candy. Near the east end of town, you can find a hidden Max Potion in the small dead end to the south. At the NW gym, talk to Rick Castle to get a Nugget. For the Cole Phelps question, answer whatever. Let's check out the gyms. The gym here has Inui telling you the gym leader is a bit silent, but also uses only Normal types. This is a lie, the leader Chell actually uses Psychic types.

  • Gym Leader Chell: P4800, LabRat Badge, TM29 Psychic
    • Jynx Lv40 (Ice Punch, Blizzard, Psychic, Lovely Kiss)
    • Gardevoir Lv42 (Pain Split, Light Screen, Psychic, Reflect)
    • Alakazam Lv38 (Water Gun, Supersonic, Protect, Aerial Ace)
    • Medicham Lv48 (Hi Jump Kick, Recover, Psychic, Meditate)

This is the fourth badge. We don't have Strength yet, but whatever. Check out the other gym, and surprise, the leader is none other than Inui himself! A Ground type user.

  • Gym Leader Inui: P4000, Animu Badge, and a Potion
    • Nidoqueen Lv40 (Earthquake, Poison Fang, Rock Slide)
    • Claydol Lv42 (Psychic, Earthquake, Confuse Ray)
    • Camerupt Lv44 (Earthquake, Take Down, Flamethrower, holds Sitrus Berry)
    • Quagsire Lv40 (Muddy Water, Endure, Earthquake, Surf, holds Sitrus Berry)

This is the sixth badge. We don't have Fly either, also I believe you were supposed to do this gym first, since his team is weaker overall and all but one have only three moves. Head east out of the town.

He says he's responsible for the killings of Pokemon here, and flees soon enough. Cole tells you after the infiltration on Route 10, that Darwin went down far too easily, and that Rick Castle was the one driving force behind Black Mesa after all. Anyways, it's not much you can do at the moment, so just continue east for your so-called League challenge.

A person here tells you that this part of Scimetri was hit the hardest with Pokemon deaths. This explains why trainers here aren't battling, and also why there's not even any wild mons to be found. And this is only half the route. Go through Funfun Mountain, and by go through I mean it automatically takes you to the other side of Route 4, there's no in-between dungeon. Mart wares are the same as before. You can't enter buildings aside from the important ones, but you can run through lampposts. To the north is Route 2, and to the south is Route 9. One last gym to face. It seems we have Siglemic here, a Fire type user.

  • Gym Leader Siglemic: P4200, Reset Badge, TM24 Thunderbolt
    • Magmar Lv44 (Fire Punch, Mach Punch, Thunderpunch, Sunny Day)
    • Houndoom Lv44 (Heat Wave, Extremespeed, Crunch, Thrash, holds Persim Berry)
    • Charizard Lv44 (Fly, Extremespeed, Flamethrower, Dragon Claw)

Head NW to get to a Teenager Only Rest Stop. Too bad you can't enter it, but going behind it will get some advice from Hinkage on this place, a grown man and an underage girl lived here. The man was Bizkit (there was someone similar in the second town), and the girl we don't really want to know about. But it seems that if you played the ROM hack Pokemon Awesome, there would be additional context to this. Whatever, that was an aside. Head east now.

There's a person who describes just how desolate the place is going. And she'll give you HM07 Waterfall for talking to her. Helpful. Keep heading east.

OUTSET TOWN — Not an island

Yeah, a bike shop here. But this shop is the same as Mauville's, except it is dark for some reason, plays the wrong music, and you can't get a bike because no one here sells it. I should remind you by the way we have never gotten a bike in this game yet. Mart wares are the same as before. The other two houses have nothing in them. So let's surf east.

FINAL DESTINATION

Well, obviously, enter. With all this said, I gotta say, this area was glitched without putting in Hacksrepairman's patch, and I was not able to enter until I patched the game. Luckily, once you patch it, I think you all know this ends up being the Elite Four here. The other gym leaders are here to cheer you on. So good luck, get your mart wares and healing done, and enter.

Our first opponent is Fat Tony, who looks like Giovanni and remembers a time where another young person beat him. Ginyu Fource Fat Tony it is. However, I'm actually not going to be listing his team for one reason: It is the exact same team as Sidney's Emerald team. Yes, down to the movesets and everything. I was hoping for a more varied Elite Four here. If you want to know what his team is, just look up Sidney's Emerald team online. P4704 for winning.

GLITCH: For these Elite Four battles, after you win one, the screen doesn't shift to your character properly (note that when you battle, the trainers stand apart). Moving to the next room fixes this.

Next is a gentleman named heysp00ky, and his team is exactly like Phoebe's down to the movesets. P4896 for winning.

Next is Coach Bombay, who trains Ice types like Glacia, but who's team is actually different!

  • Ginyu Fource Bombay: P5088
    • Glalie Lv50 (Ice Beam, Rollout, Hail, Blizzard)
    • Walrein Lv50 (Rest, Hail, Blizzard, Surf, holds Leftovers)
    • Regice Lv52 (Sheer Cold, Ice Beam, Hail, Thunderbolt)
    • Cloyster Lv52 (Ice Beam, Acid Armor, Hail, Water Pulse)
    • Piloswine Lv53 (Earthquake, Body Slam, Ice Ball, Skull Bash, holds Sitrus Berry)

Afterwards, you come up to…your character? Weird. Even weirder when we realize that a different theme plays and if you're playing as a girl it still uses Brendan's sprite and the game thinks it's still you. However, it's revealed to be Hinkage, playing a joke and referencing Pokemon Awesome again. So let's actually battle him as the next Ginyu Fource member, and he's got a varied team this time.

  • Programmer hinkage: P51072
    • Blastoise Lv52 (Hydro Pump, Earthquake, Headbutt, Ice Beam)
    • Moltres Lv54 (Sacred Fire, Heat Wave, Drill Peck, Aerial Ace)
    • Porygon2 Lv53 (Ice Beam, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Recover)
    • Alakazam Lv53 (Psychic, Toxic, Shadow Ball, Recover)
    • Scizor Lv55 (Mach Punch, Sky Uppercut, Steel Wing, Knock Off, holds Sitrus Berry)
    • Ditto Lv56 (Transform)

So who could be champion? Who's a person we haven't battled at all yet? Did you guess Rick Castle? He's at the top, and also has a varied team.

  • Champion Castle: P11600
    • Dusclops Lv57 (Shadow Ball, Dream Eater, Hypnosis, Mean Look)
    • Venusaur Lv55 (Frenzy Plant, Earthquake, Razor Leaf, Sunny Day)
    • Arcanine Lv56 (Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Dig, Take Down)
    • Crobat Lv56 (Aerial Ace, Taunt, Toxic, Whirlwind)
    • Hypno Lv56 (Psybeam, Hypnosis, Psychic, Confuse Ray)
    • Aggron Lv58 (Earthquake, Rock Blast, Iron Tail, Outrage, holds Sitrus Berry)

Afterwards, Cole Phelps comes in to finally arrest Castle, and hinkage also shows up too. There's no Hall of Fame room here, but you will still get some credits. You'll be back at Kokiri Town, surprisingly without your Pokemon healed (no HOF either!). But yeah, we are more or less done with Pokemon Hyetology. There is one thing you can do post-game though. Go back to The Crossroads and head north (no old man to block you) to Green Mtn. Base. No mons in the grass, nor for some reason can you run, just climb up and enter the cave and you'll find Kyogre Lv70. The only legendary you can catch here. That's really it now. There's not much in post-game aside from that one quest. Anyways, this guide will have probably helped you figure things out as you pulled through the game.

AVAILABLE POKEMON

Unfortunately this game does not have a lot of options for getting Pokemon, as there are very few options for them. This list contains all the Pokemon you can obtain in Pokemon Hyetology. Some notes are that the trade evolutions are inaccessible as there are no methods to change them (if you use something like Gen-3 tools, you can edit the Pokemon and their evolutionary methods, I used it for debugging) and that there are no evolutionary stones aside from just one Moon Stone in the game. Another thing, you can't really breed for Pokemon. The Day Care is accessible, however you cannot get eggs as there's no Day Care Man to get eggs from to my knowledge.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What does Hacksrepairman's patch fix?

A: According to the notes, the following were fixed: entering some houses may lead you to a broken map; a gamebreaking event in the Town of Greenwich; the broken tiles in Outset Town; the broken league entrance. These were also added: the Ginyu Fource's script; the champion battle (I don't know who is the champion, so I used the main character of Pokemon 2Awesome, don't ask me why he looks the same as player); I recycled the map of Green Mtn. Base, however, I don't know what will happen in there, so I simply added a cave in which you can catch Kyogre (I know you are not supposed to catch any legendaries, but that's the only way to make that map useful). The good news is some important things like the houses leading to the broken Petalburg map are fixed (instead, you go to a "Debug Room" which has nothing inside and you can leave any time).

Q: What is this game missing? I hear it's missing a lot.

A: You don't have access to a map of the region, evolutionary stones (except one Moon Stone), a bike, a Pokedex, a PokeNav, a large chunk of TMs (plus some of the HMs like Dive, Fly, Flash, Strength), and basically every berry (except two, in the glitched mart wares mentioned before).

Q: What's Vision Tunnel about?

A: It's a location that connects Kokiri Town, Route 16, and Route 11, a nifty shortcut.

Q: How do I get through James Woods?

A: Go through the trees that lack stumps.

Q: Is there a point of no return?

A: Two I can think of. One is when Castle takes you to Dead Island, you can only do stuff around the Dead Island area for the time being (mainly getting the badge). The other is after Dead Island, where the fisherman drops you on Route 6. The stretch of routes and towns from that point onward will be the rest of the game up to the Elite Four.

Q: Why are none of the houses later on accessible?

A: Great guess. I don't know the answer to this one. If you are not playing the Hacksrepairman version you'll be warped to a glitched-out Petalburg. I went around there for a while and actually got into Street City at some point, well before I was supposed to. So just avoid houses.
