About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Polka Aqua 3 takes players further into the Pokémon multiverse, continuing the narrative from the previous games. Characters from television shows and movies once again cross into the Pokémon world, creating complex storylines and challenges. Trainers navigate through cities, forests, and fantastical locations while uncovering the mysteries of Pokémon evolution and Azurill’s unique role. Players continue the legacy of their older cousins while rescuing Professor Palm, battling rival trainers, and engaging in a narrative that spans multiple universes.
Story Overview
Years after the events of Pokémon Polka Aqua and Polka Aqua 2, you embark on a new journey beginning in San Francisco. Early in the adventure, you meet your rival, Stella, and rescue Professor Palm from a Buneary in the Art Museum. From there, the story expands across real-world-inspired locations like Seattle, New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C., as well as fictional regions including Sunnydale, Hogwarts, the Enchanted Forest, and National City.
The main plot features a mix of detective work, battles with rival trainers, heroic rescues, and confrontations with villainous organizations. Players face challenges in gyms, navigate puzzle-filled routes, and engage with crossover characters to stop multiversal threats such as anti-matter crises, Hydra infiltration, and Prof. Maple’s plans involving Mewtwo and the Nexus.
The post-game includes additional story arcs, legendary and mythical Pokémon hunts, rematches with Gym Leaders, Elite Four, former leaders from earlier games, and major battles against characters like Emmett, Evan, Prof. Maple, and your rival.
