Special Encounters — Flawless Platinum

Everything listed here has been modified from the vanilla game. Anything not listed is unchanged.

Gift & Egg Pokémon

Manaphy — Obtained on Route 219 as soon as you receive your Pokédex. A little girl there gives you its Egg to hatch. Starts at Level 1. Required to see and obtain Phione, same as in vanilla.

Togepi — Completely unedited from vanilla. You still receive its Egg from Cynthia after beating Jupiter the first time. Not the only way to get Togepi, but the only guaranteed one.

Riolu — Still obtained as an Egg from the same location as vanilla. This is your only guaranteed Riolu, though they can be found elsewhere.

Eevee — Still found in the same place, now at Level 28. This is the only guaranteed Eevee, though they can be found elsewhere.

Porygon — Still obtained from the same spot as vanilla, now at Level 38. Like other Gift Pokémon, you can encounter it elsewhere, but this is the only guaranteed one.

Fossils — All fossils are obtained for free by talking to the female scientist in the Underground Man's house in Eterna City. The Skull or Armor Fossil you receive depends on your Trainer ID. Revived Pokémon are unchanged.

Static Encounters

Drifloon — Completely unedited from vanilla. Still found at Level 15 at the Valley Windworks on Friday.

Celebi — After beating Gardenia and obtaining HM01, return to Route 205 and enter the area of Eterna Forest blocked off by trees. Celebi stands on a hill there at Level 25.

Rotom — Same location as vanilla, now at Level 25.

Spiritomb — Found in the same place as usual, now at Level 35. No longer requires visiting the Underground — simply interact with the Hallowed Tower twice while holding an Odd Keystone.

Jirachi — Found at the bottom of the Solaceon Ruins, where HM05 is located. Level 35.

Deoxys — Found on Route 214, very poorly hidden. Level 40. Its moveset has been slightly altered so it won't flee.

Zapdos — No longer a roaming Pokémon. Now found stationary in front of the Fuego Ironworks, accessible after obtaining Surf. Level 45.

Registeel — Found in the normal location. No longer requires the Event Regigigas — simply interact with the statue to begin the battle. Level 50.

Mew — Hidden at Lake Verity once Team Galactic captures Mesprit. Level 55.

Regice — Found in the normal location. No longer requires the Event Regigigas — interact with the statue to begin the battle. Level 55.

Articuno — No longer a roaming Pokémon. Now sitting directly in front of the Ice Rock on Route 217. Level 57.

Suicune — After Team Galactic captures Uxie, Suicune can be found hidden on Lake Acuity. Level 60.

Entei — After beating Candice and obtaining HM08, found at the Valor Lakefront. Level 60.

Raikou — After beating Candice and obtaining HM08, found on Route 213. Level 60.

Uxie & Azelf — Found in the same locations as vanilla. Now at Level 68.

Mesprit — Once you defeat Team Galactic for the final time, Mesprit can be found in its Cavern as usual — but it is no longer a roaming Pokémon. It now stays in the Cavern and can be battled directly at Level 68.

Latias & Latios — Both found on Route 222, near Sunyshore. Both are Level 70, with slightly altered movesets to prevent self-KO.

Giratina — Found in both normal locations. In the Distortion World it is Level 70. If you defeat or flee from it there, it reappears in Turnback Cave at Level 85.

Moltres — No longer a roaming Pokémon. Found in Victory Road, echoing its Generation I location. Level 72.

Mewtwo — Found at the end of Victory Road, just before the Pokémon League — the last Legendary encountered before the Elite Four. Level 75.

Dialga & Palkia — Found in the normal way. Both at Level 85.

Cresselia — No longer a roaming Pokémon. Now battled directly on Fullmoon Island. Level 85.

Kyogre — Found floating on Route 230. Level 85.

Regirock — Found in the normal location. No longer requires the Event Regigigas — interact with the statue to begin the battle. Level 85.

Lugia — Found on a beach on Route 226. Level 85.

Regigigas — Still requires all three Regis to battle. Now at Level 85 instead of Level 1.

Ho-Oh — Found on Route 227 in an area only accessible via Rock Climb from Stark Mountain. Level 88.

Groudon — Found on Stark Mountain along the same path as Ho-Oh. Level 88.

Rayquaza — Found on Route 224, sitting on a hill. Level 88.

Shaymin — Oak's Letter is obtained from Professor Oak. Visit Pal Park first, then speak to him at his house in Eterna City. After that and defeating the Elite Four, the event proceeds as normal. Level 88.

Heatran — Found in the same location as vanilla. Level 90.

Darkrai — The Member Card is obtained from the same person who normally gives the Super Rod. After that, the event proceeds as normal. Level 90.

Arceus — To obtain the Azure Flute, first complete the Galactic events at Stark Mountain and battle Shaymin. Then speak to Buck's Grandfather in the Battleground. Traveling to the Spear Pillar takes you to the Hall of Origin, after which the event proceeds normally. Level 95.
