How to Read This List
Only Pokémon with changes to their Level-Up Moves appear here. If a Pokémon isn't listed, it has no changes.
Symbols:
- + Addition of a move to the learnset
- – Deletion of a move from the learnset
- = Move shifted to a different level, but still in the learnset
When it says "moves after X move down a slot," take the moves learned after X and replace them with the moves learned at a level from X onward. Pokémon are ordered by evolution chain. Cross-generational evolutions/pre-evolutions are listed under the first Pokémon in the chain by National Dex order (e.g., the Tyrogue family appears after Marowak because of Hitmonlee).
Notes & Clarifications
On move deletions below 20 moves: Some Pokémon have moves removed even though their learnset is under 20. This is because hitting the maximum triggers a glitch where strange moves are learned every two levels — sometimes the same move repeated up to ten times.
On Legendaries: Some adjustments prevent Legendaries from prematurely ending their own encounter (e.g., Deoxys using Teleport, Cresselia using Lunar Dance).
Move Changes
Several moves have been altered from their base behaviour:
- Cut — Now a Grass-type move, functioning as a weaker Leaf Blade
- Strength — Now a Rock-type move
- Rock Smash — Now 60 BP with a 30% chance to lower the target's Defense
- Me First — Now a +5 priority move (it never made sense that it wasn't)
- All other attack moves remain as they are in Gen IV/V. The only exceptions are moves that alter stats or were retyped to Fairy.
