About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Adventure – Green Chapter is a story-focused GBA ROM hack based on the Pokémon Adventures manga, specifically centered on Green’s perspective. Unlike the main manga, many of Green’s experiences were only implied—this hack expands those unseen events into a full playable story.
The game is a spinoff of Pokémon Adventure – Red Chapter, filling narrative gaps and exploring Green’s journey, motivations, and struggles. While it closely follows manga canon, additional original content and optional events were added to extend gameplay and world-building.
Due to its age, this hack is considered unfinished, not actively in development, and available only in beta form.
Story Overview
One day, a young girl from Pallet Town was kidnapped by a mysterious flying Pokémon. Years later, she suddenly returns home, only to discover that the world has moved on without her.
Lost, angry, and seeking answers, Green embarks on a journey driven by revenge and self-discovery. Her path becomes entwined with Team Rocket, as well as a boy named Red, pulling her into events that shape the fate of Kanto and beyond.
While based on the Pokémon Adventures manga, many of the events depicted here were never directly shown in canon, making this hack a deeper exploration of Green’s implied story.
