About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Supreme Fire Final Remake is the definitive release of Supreme Fire — the version the hack was always building toward, especially with a sequel in mind.
The foundation is still FireRed, but almost everything under the hood has been reworked. Every Pokémon has been touched in some way: base stats, typings, movesets, and battle roles. The goal wasn't to follow standard Pokémon balance logic — type matchups and weaknesses have been deliberately altered to make more Pokémon viable rather than to reflect any kind of realism. It's a different philosophy, and it shows in how the roster actually plays.
Progression has been smoothed out significantly compared to earlier versions. The original level curve drew complaints for being too steep, and that's been one of the main focuses of this remake, alongside the usual bug fixes and balance passes. EXP has been improved, TMs are infinite, and HMs are more flexible — enough to keep grinding from becoming a chore without removing the challenge from major battles. The AI is smarter, and the important fights hit harder.
It started as a personal project and went through several iterations — Supreme Fire Light, v2.4, earlier remakes — before landing here. This version pulls the best of those updates into one stable package and irons out what didn't work. If you've bounced off earlier versions or never tried the hack before, this is the one to play.
Key Features
- Custom Pokémon Balance: Every Pokémon has altered base stats (BST) and stat spreads, making all species more viable.
- New Starters: Ekans, Machop, and Abra replace traditional starters, each with significantly stronger BST.
- Type & Niche System: Pokémon types and matchups are reworked to create unique roles for each type rather than following standard logic.

- Physical/Special Split: Moves are categorized properly for modern battle mechanics.
- EXP & Grinding Improvements: EXP Share boosts, Catch EXP, and adjusted leveling reduce grind while keeping challenge intact.
- QoL Features: Infinite TMs, delete-able HMs, running indoors, repel system improvements, animation skips, and faster gameplay settings.
- Battle Restrictions: No healing items in battle, forced SET mode, and obedience caps tied to badges increase difficulty.

- Safari Zone Changes: Pokémon no longer flee and time is unlimited.
- Audio & Visual Updates: Updated Pokémon cries and Black/White-inspired music additions.
