About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Supreme Fire is a custom FireRed ROM hack that reimagines the original Kanto adventure with unique mechanics, updated Pokémon stats, and altered typing. This hack is a precursor to a planned sequel and was designed to address issues such as level curve difficulty from earlier versions.
The hack emphasizes strategic gameplay, introducing harder major battles, a challenging post-game, and a mix of quality-of-life and modern mechanics inspired by later generations. It’s not Nuzlocke or randomizer-friendly due to these changes.
Players will experience a familiar Kanto journey but with new starters, rebalanced Pokémon, enhanced abilities, and updated battle systems.
After completing the main game, players can rebattle gym leaders in Vermillion City and face a challenging post-game Elite Four. Along the way, the game introduces new items, updated mechanics, and changes to Pokémon evolutions, giving players a fresh challenge while keeping the classic narrative intact.
