Pokemon Locations
Note 1:
I have not removed ANY normal Hoenn pokemon, they are all still catchable,
usually in the first location they are normally found at the very least. For example,
Poochyena is usually initially found on route 101, which remains true. However
Poochyena is spammed in the following 10+ routes, so I swapped it with alternate
encounters to improve pokemon diversity. This generally means OG Hoenn pokemon
are rarer encounters.
Note 2:
I curated this dex purely on vibes and what Pokemon I like. It may not be
perfectly balanced necessarily, but I mostly only added basic pokemon, and left the
latter half of the game more vanilla encounter-wise, as usually I prefer to make a team
early-game so I can use them throughout.
Note 3:
If you play the "Vanilla" version, there are
NO NEW POKEMON ADDED OR ENCOUNTERS CHANGED.
It will be entirely regular Emerald, with just the item and mechanical changes described above.
