Story Overview
The adventure begins in Littleroot Town, where you are introduced to Professor Maple, the local Pokémon Professor. This assistant becomes both your friend and your rival throughout the journey.
Early in the game, Professor Maple is attacked by a wild Zigzagoon and asks for your help. After defeating it, he allows you to keep the Pokémon you used and recruits you to assist with Pokédex research. As your journey unfolds, you uncover the dangerous ambitions of Team Dream, a group of extremists threatening the balance of the Hoenn region.
