About This ROM Hack

Pokémon Pycron is a completed Japanese Pokémon FireRed ROM hack and a parallel sequel within the Pokémon Vega universe. It belongs to the same star-themed series as Pokémon Deneb and Pokémon Procyon.

Despite being titled Pokémon Pycron, the game itself follows the Procyon storyline, with Pycron often considered an alternate naming or variant release within the same branch. The hack features a new region filled with fakemon, updated trainer designs, new Pokémon evolutions, and an original villain team.

While it shares a strong foundation with Pokémon Deneb, Pycron/Procyon includes distinct Pokémon, fakemon, and small narrative differences, making it a unique experience rather than a duplicate version.

Story Overview

The moment has arrived for you to begin your journey as a true Pokémon Trainer. Before venturing across your vast homeland, you must first visit the local Professor to receive your starter Pokémon and prepare for the long adventure ahead.

Pokémon Pycron takes place in a brand-new region inhabited by numerous original fakemon alongside Pokémon from Generations 1 through 5. Throughout your journey, you will face newly redesigned Gym Leaders, uncover new Pokémon evolutions, and confront a new villainous organization threatening the region.

This title continues the storyline established in Pokémon Vega and runs parallel to Pokémon Deneb, offering an alternative version of events with exclusive content.
