About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Clay’s Calamity II is the second installment in the Clay’s Calamity open-world FireRed trilogy. This ROM hack transforms Kanto into a fully open-world environment where players can travel anywhere from the start, explore hidden passages, and encounter Pokémon from Generations 1–3. The game is designed for extreme challenge, with Gym Leaders and trainers significantly stronger than in the original FireRed.
This hack builds upon the first game by introducing higher difficulty, more diverse Pokémon encounters, and a narrative focused on hunting down the legendary Clay, who has become the strongest Pokémon Master in Kanto.
Story Overview
Years after Clay’s Calamity I, Kanto is still shaken by Clay’s previous conquest. Clay has gone into hiding after dominating all trainers and Gym Leaders. Your goal is to track down and defeat Clay while navigating a fully open Kanto region.
Along the way, you’ll face stronger Gym Leaders, challenging trainers, and strategically placed Pokémon, all designed to test your skills. Hidden warps and secret passages help guide your journey to Clay, the most powerful Pokémon Master ever.
