Pokémon Sparkling Red is an in-progress Pokémon FireRed ROM hack designed around one central idea: shiny Pokémon everywhere. With over 350 custom, shiny palettes and drastically increased shiny odds, the game transforms a classic Kanto adventure into a vibrant, high-reward experience for shiny hunting.
While remaining faithful to FireRed’s core structure and content, Sparkling Red introduces a light regional overhaul, reworked encounters, improved progression pacing, and expanded Pokémon availability. The result is a version of Kanto that feels both familiar and refreshed, suitable for returning veterans and first-time FireRed players alike.
