Pokémon Recollection Quest is a complete English GBA ROM hack based on Pokémon Emerald, created by Sylph / The Sylph is In and released around October 2024. Unlike traditional Pokémon hacks focused on badges or long journeys, this game is a compact narrative experience with exploration, character interaction, scripted battles, and unique mechanics built around teamwork and progression.
The hack features original objectives, a small playable area, and mechanics centered on reuniting a separated team and solving a town’s troubles alongside a special Eevee companion.
Story Overview
You play as Amelia, a Pokémon Ranger with the rare ability to communicate with Pokémon. One night, a flood separates her from her team, leaving her stranded in an unfamiliar region.
In this short adventure, Amelia must explore the area she washed up in, rebuild her connection with her lost team members (including Pokémon like Kingler, Flygon, and Nidoking), and help resolve the predicaments facing the town of Elthe City.
Along the way, she meets a unique form of Eevee with an unusual method of gaining strength. Training this Eevee and restoring her team’s strength is key to uncovering the cause of Elthe City’s troubles and bringing harmony back to the region.
