About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Xenon is a FireRed-based GBA ROM hack created by Aeon961. It introduces a completely new region, Liyue, along with modern Pokémon mechanics and systems suited for the GBA engine. The project aims to blend classic Pokémon progression with exciting features, including side quests, new currencies, enhanced AI, and future updates such as Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, and Dynamax. Some elements are still under development or are only partially complete. This release serves as a technical demo to showcase the game’s foundations and main ideas.
Story Overview
Welcome to Liyue, a peaceful region where humans and Pokémon live together in harmony. This peace is disrupted by Team Jeo, a dangerous group with plans that go beyond a single world. Their aim is complete control over multiple timelines. As a new Pokémon Trainer, you become involved in a conflict much larger than a typical Gym challenge. Your journey will lead you through varied environments, into hidden areas, and through side quests that broaden the world beyond the main story. Along the way, you will face strong trainers, discover secrets tied to the nature of time, and make choices that will determine the fate of Liyue and every timeline that Team Jeo wants to dominate.Key Features
