Pokémon BugRed is a unique monotype challenge ROM hack that transforms the classic Kanto experience into a Bug-type-only journey. Created by Notag, the hack reimagines FireRed by forcing players to rely entirely on Bug Pokémon, drastically changing how battles, team-building, and progression feel.
Built using the HUBOL base, the game expands the Pokédex up to Generation 8, including updated typings, movesets, and various quality-of-life improvements.
