About This ROM Hack

Pokémon Clay's Calamity III is the final installment in the open-world FireRed trilogy, building on the gameplay and mechanics introduced in Clay’s Calamity I & II. This beta expands Pokémon availability, fully integrates first three generations, and continues the completely open-world Kanto design.

The patch removes traditional barriers such as rival battles, blocked passages, trainer blockers, cuttable trees, and locked doors. Players can traverse the region freely via foot, boats, or hidden warp pads, making the experience fully non-linear.

Story Overview

Ten years after the original Clay stormed Kanto and reshaped the Indigo League, the region has rejoined the Pokémon League, with Gym Leaders reassessed and trainers leveling up their skills.

Players continue the story of open-world Kanto as Clay or other trainers, exploring an expansive region with hidden trainers, secret legendaries, and lore-based Pokémon placements. The game concludes the FireRed open-world trilogy.
