Story Overview
You play as a young man or woman who joins the Hoenn Police Force, stepping into a region that is far from the cheerful world seen in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
Crime, corruption, and chaos plague this version of Hoenn, and as a police officer, your job is to investigate incidents, confront criminals, and restore order. The story progresses through missions rather than Gym battles, with scripted events replacing the traditional Pokémon formula.
While the narrative shares thematic DNA with Pokémon Outlaw, CAWPS tells its own standalone story and does not require prior knowledge of Outlaw to understand or enjoy.
