About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Blazing Red is an ambitious Pokémon FireRed ROM hack that significantly expands the scope of the original game. It focuses on cross-region content, increased difficulty, and extended exploration, while keeping the classic FireRed foundation intact.
The hack introduces multiple regions, rematchable Gym Leaders, a new rival, and access to rare Pokémon early in the game. Development is still in its early stages, with the current beta covering content up to Pewter City.
Story Overview
The core FireRed storyline remains the foundation of Pokémon Blazing Red, but the world around it is greatly expanded.
You begin your journey in Kanto, facing familiar challenges alongside a brand-new rival. As the adventure progresses, you gain the ability to travel beyond Kanto, visiting parts of Hoenn and eventually challenging Gym Leaders from multiple regions.
With Kanto expanded and additional Gyms added, the journey becomes larger, tougher, and far more diverse than the original FireRed experience.
