About This ROM Hack

Pokémon Emerald Base Plus is a quality-of-life (QoL) focused patch for the original Pokémon Emerald. Built using the Pokémon Emerald decompilation, this hack preserves the classic Hoenn adventure while adding convenience features like portable PC, instant healing, infinite TMs and berries, and EV-less mode. It is designed for trainers who want to enjoy a smoother, more flexible gameplay experience without altering the original story or difficulty.

Story Overview

The story remains identical to Pokémon Emerald. Players begin their journey in Littleroot Town, choosing a starter Pokémon from Professor Birch and traveling across the Hoenn region. All Gyms, Legendary encounters, Team Aqua/Magma conflicts, and the Pokémon League remain unchanged. The hack focuses on enhancing the experience rather than altering the narrative, allowing both new and veteran players to enjoy Emerald with modern QoL improvements.
