Story Overview
You begin your adventure in Yellow Town on what seems to be a peaceful spring day. Professor Jasmine asks you to travel to Central City to investigate an ancient engraving alongside Kaohri, the Champion of the Zhery League.
The investigation takes an unexpected turn when a member of Team Steam is discovered secretly spying on the expedition. After confronting the intruder in battle, the Team Steam soldier escapes with knowledge of the discovery.
Returning to Professor Jasmine's laboratory, you reveal what has happened, only to learn that the engraving contains information about the origin of the Legendary Pokémon and Arceus. With this ancient secret now falling into the wrong hands, your journey begins as you attempt to stop Team Steam from exploiting knowledge that has been protected for thousands of years.
