About This ROM Hack

Pokémon Victory Fire is a full-region ROM hack built on FireRed that places players in the Tyron Region, a new and unique area with its own gyms, towns, and story. This hack combines the classic feel of FireRed with modern gameplay tweaks: updated Pokémon movepools, added later-generation Pokémon, new maps, and quality-of-life improvements such as expanded bag space, better HM usability, and more intuitive in-game menus.

The hack has been refined over multiple versions, with glitches fixed, gameplay mechanics improved, and postgame content expanded. V2.75 specifically adds stability, fixes several key glitches, and reworks Pokémon movepools and experience systems.

Story Overview

You play as Iron or Pure, a boy or girl trainer who dreams of becoming the greatest in the Tyron Region. One night, a Pokémon appears in a dream and chooses you as its trainer. When you wake, you meet your first Pokémon and your new neighbor, Uranium, an unfriendly boy who does not train his own Pokémon but instead uses others’.

As you prepare to leave your hometown, you discover that Professor Ivan is under attack by Team Mirage, a mysterious organization whose intentions are unknown. You will travel across Tyron, battling Team Mirage, challenging gyms, and uncovering the secrets behind the organization. Along the way, you’ll face rival trainers, explore new towns and secret areas, and encounter surprises that shape the region’s story.
