Story

You are a young trainer from Luko Town in the Jotash Region. After passing your Pokemon Trainer test you have been tasked by Prof Laau, a distant relative of Prof Oak, to help him rid the region of the villainous group, Red Crimson. This heinous group has been rounding up rare and strong Pokemon to increase their strength and ferocity through a process called Shadowizing. These Shadow Pokemon need your help as their hearts have been closed off to the world, and it is your job to open their hearts and let them embrace love once again. As you go through the various towns, cities, and villages of this region you will encounter and be challenged by many trainers, friends, rivals, and foes and pick up some missions along the way. The mission system allows you to keep track of all the main, side, and optional missions you may come across as you progress through your journey. However, be careful because if you fail a mission there can be dire consequences. You will also be able to gym leaders at your leisure as it is not a requirement to progress the story, but greater challenges and rewards arise when you do defeat them.
