Story
The game is set one year after the events of Pokémon Scarso and at the same time as Pokémon Rising Sun (set in an alternate universe).
During their summer break from Seuld's academy, Dirg and Daig take a vacation and return to Cyanent City, where their childhood friend, you, lives. One day Dirg receives a very special package from Malna, containing a copy of Pokémon Scarce Edition, as a thank you for helping to make it happen.
Dirg wants to try it right away; he then calls you and Daig to join him at home right away to try the game. The two, though hesitant, enter the game alongside Dirg, unaware of what would happen next.

- No gyms, leagues, and various things.
- Dex and typing up to the seventh generation.
- Moves and abilities up to the eighth generation.
- Battle system updated up to the seventh generation, with increasing difficulty: sets, EVs, IVs, etc. There are also double battles with NPCs.
- Infinite TMs.
- Erasable HMs.
- Day / Night System based on PC time. It does not in any way affect the course of the story.
