About This ROM Hack
Pokémon White Amethyst is an English Pokémon FireRed ROM hack created by George (Gerokunz). As the developer's first FireRed hacking project, it introduces a brand-new adventure set in the original Aelyn Region, featuring an original storyline, returning villains, and plans to expand the available Pokémon roster with creatures from later generations.
While the Mini Beta offers only the opening portion of the adventure, the project already includes custom locations, rematch mechanics, and a new regional setting. The developer also planned to introduce additional graphical improvements, new tiles, and more Generation IV and V Pokémon in future beta releases.
Story Overview
You play as a young Trainer living in the peaceful Aelyn Region alongside your mother. Your older brother has already achieved fame by becoming the Aelyn League Champion, making him one of the region's strongest Trainers.
However, the peace does not last long. Team Rocket has returned with a new objective—taking control of the Aelyn Region by using the power of Legendary Pokémon. Their leader plans to reshape the region entirely, placing everyone in danger.
Together with your brother, you must uncover Team Rocket's plans, protect Aelyn, and stop the organization before they can carry out their ambitions.
