About This ROM Hack
Pokemon Shinning Emerald is an improvement hack of Pokémon Emerald that focuses on making the original Hoenn adventure more complete without dramatically changing its story. Rather than introducing a new region or original storyline, the hack expands the base game by making all 386 Pokémon from Generations I–III obtainable, improving overall game balance, and increasing the challenge through stronger trainers and Gym Leaders.
The project was created as the developer's first ROM hack, with the goal of delivering a more rewarding Emerald experience while remaining faithful to the original game. Several mechanics have been adjusted to remove unnecessary restrictions, including trade evolutions, allowing every Pokémon to be obtained during a normal playthrough. Documentation containing Pokémon locations and evolution information is included with the release.

Known Bugs & Issues
