About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Manly Pink is a Pokémon FireRed ROM hack that replaces the original Kanto Pokédex with Pokémon from Pokémon Black & White. Instead of encountering Generation I, II, or III Pokémon, players build their teams entirely from Generation V Pokémon, complete with their respective stats and move sets.
To better match the mechanics of Pokémon Black & White, the hack also updates the base power of various moves where changes were introduced in Generation V. Rather than creating a new story or region, Pokémon Manly Pink focuses on offering a familiar FireRed adventure with an entirely different selection of Pokémon and battle balance.
The available release, Beta v0.9c, allows players to progress through the game up to Raimon's Gym, making it a partial but playable experience.
