About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Justicieros is a Spanish Pokémon FireRed ROM hack that tells a much darker and more emotional story than a traditional Pokémon adventure. Instead of beginning with the familiar goal of collecting Gym Badges, the game follows a young protagonist whose life is shattered after witnessing the murder of his mother at the hands of a criminal organization.
The story focuses on revenge, justice, family, and friendship as the protagonist and his father become involved in a growing conflict against the villainous Team RocXia, an organization seeking complete control over the Holades Region. To oppose them, the protagonist's father establishes the Equipo Justiciero (Justice Team), a group dedicated to protecting innocent people and fighting back against Team RocXia's crimes.
Alongside its original storyline, the hack includes several modern gameplay improvements such as Mega Evolution, reusable TMs, the Fairy type, Pokémon and battle mechanics up to Generation VI, translated battle text, and other quality-of-life features.
Story Overview
What would you do if your mother was murdered right in front of your eyes?
Pokemon Justicieros begins with a heartbreaking tragedy that changes the protagonist's life forever. As a child, he witnesses a member of the evil Team RocXia murder his mother, bringing his childhood to an abrupt end and leaving his family devastated.
As Team RocXia continues pursuing its goal of taking complete control over the Holades Region, more innocent lives are put at risk. Determined to seek justice, the protagonist and his father, Honel, set out to find the man responsible for the murder.
During their journey they meet several kind-hearted Pokémon Trainers who repeatedly assist them. Inspired by these encounters, Honel creates the Equipo Justiciero, an organization devoted to stopping Team RocXia's criminal activities while also helping anyone in need throughout the region.
Throughout the adventure, the protagonist grows into a courageous Trainer while facing difficult battles, uncovering the organization's plans, and fighting alongside friends in the hope of finally bringing justice to those responsible.
