Story Overview
The world of Pokémon NeoSun begins with the tragedy of Celebi, the forest guardian, who becomes tainted by an ancient curse. Overworked and weary from the continuous deforestation, Celebi is eventually corrupted, transforming into Necroscelebi. This corrupted being starts to destroy the nature it once protected, drying up trees and turning lush landscapes into barren deserts.
In response to this growing chaos, Shaymin, the new guardian of the forest, is called upon to restore balance. The world’s fate hangs in the balance, as Necroscelebi threatens to eradicate life itself. As a young hero, you witness a fierce battle between Shaymin and Necroscelebi, and a new journey begins as you venture into the Forbidden Forest, trying to help both parties while discovering a deeper conspiracy at play.
The region you will explore is Tenochtitlan, where ancient forces battle for control. The goal? To stop Necroscelebi and ensure the rebirth of life through NeoSun, the new sun that rises on the horizon.
