About This ROM Hack
Moemon Bonds is a completely Moemon-centric world where the familiar Pokémon experience is given a fun, quirky twist. In this hack, the world is entirely inhabited by Moemons who live alongside humans in a modernized environment. As the player, you take on the role of a young amnesiac Moemon Latios berry-picker who has been cursed by the Moemon Goddess. In order to lift the curse, you must complete a Moemon poaching journey, stop the Chosen One, and work to persuade and heal the hearts of many Moemons you encounter along the way.
The journey will see you forging bonds with your Moemons, uncovering hidden secrets, and navigating a story full of twists and turns. Tread carefully through the world of Moemons, facing rivals, mysteries, and much more.
Story Overview
By the whimsical power of the Moemon Goddess, you, a teenage Moemon Latios berry-picker, have been cursed with a hellish fate. To break free from the curse, you must do the Goddess's bidding and embark on a journey to poach Moemons and stop the Chosen One. Along the way, you'll face difficult choices, form bonds with your Moemons, and uncover deep secrets hidden in the world. Your quest will have you battling rival Moemon poachers, unveiling mysteries about the Moemon world, and navigating the path of the white shadows.
It’s a journey of discovery, where you'll be forced to fight against fate, but also find redemption as you heal the hearts of Moemons in need.

Known Bugs & Issues
- No Pokedex: The game doesn't include a traditional Pokédex since it’s a Moemon-only world.
- Wild Moemon Glitch: A rare issue where another wild Moemon may appear after defeating one. (Fix: Simply battle the second wild Moemon as normal.)
- Pre-battle Mugshot Bugs: Some evented battles may not display the character mugshot before battle.
- First Turn Glitch: Sometimes after loading from a savestate, your first Moemon won't use a move on the first turn. (Fix: Battle a wild Moemon first before moving on.)
- Glitchy Text with Certain Moves: Moves like Reflect, Light Screen, and Angel Guard may cause text glitches but are not game-breaking. (Fix: Wait for the text to finish.)
- Ditto Glitch in Moe Pool: If your team is not arranged properly before entering the Moe Pool, Ditto might temporarily replace your Moemons. (Fix: Put LANIA in the first slot and MIO in the second slot.)
- Event Character Issues: Event-following characters may glitch if you move too quickly while a textbox is visible. (Fix: Exit and re-enter the area to reset the character’s direction.)
- Cutscene Lag: Some cutscenes in dynamic caves take longer to load to prevent glitches. (Fix: Just be patient.)
- Starter Moemon Release Issue: Releasing your starter Moemons can cause undesirable effects. (Fix: Don’t release them!)
- Unobtainable Moemons: Some Moemons, such as Exeggcute and Exeggutor, are unobtainable and attempting to get them will cause issues.
