Pokémon DAVD Edition is an Italian ROM hack of Pokémon FireRed that combines comedy, satire, and an original storyline with modern gameplay improvements. Rather than following the familiar Kanto adventure, players take control of David, a student whose ordinary summer quickly turns into an unexpected journey involving eccentric teachers, an unusual villainous organization, and plenty of comedic moments.

Story Overview
You play as David, a cheerful and witty student who is known for supporting FC Barcelona and wearing Lionel Messi's jersey. At the beginning of summer, his good academic performance earns him his very first Pokémon from school, marking the start of what seems like a traditional Pokémon journey.
David initially sets out with the familiar goal of defeating the regional Pokémon League and becoming Champion. However, his adventure takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Team Albore, an organization founded and led by his own teachers.
Believing that ignorance is humanity's greatest flaw, Team Albore seeks to reshape society by preserving only those they consider intelligent enough to deserve humanity. Everyone else is transformed into Pokémon—such as Slowpoke—as part of what they call a revolution against ignorance.
The conflict soon becomes personal when people close to David become victims of Team Albore's plans. Despite constantly clashing with his teachers throughout school, David refuses to abandon his friends and sets out to stop Team Albore's ambitions, even if those he is trying to save are exactly the kind of people the organization believes should disappear.
