Story

Several years ago, in the Sinnoh region, the Galaxy Team, trying to create a new universe, stole the magma stone, Heatran, angered by the theft of their sacred stone, chased them throughout the region until they found them.

There he hunted them down, and possessed by fury, he created a powerful volcano that disfigured the entire region, causing a great eruption that destroyed everything in its path leaving chaos everywhere. The recruits of Team Galaxia despite their failed mission would not give up and today they still plan to get hold of the magma stone and be able to control Heatran.

20 YEARS LATER

The Sinnoh region today is joy, young people grow up with the dream of being pokémon trainers since their parents and grandparents were too. Cris, who just turned 16 years old, goes to his grandmother with two friends, Constantine and Emily.

Both of them already had their first pokemon, but they believed that Cris did not. But, days before, Cris had travelled to Hoenn to see his cousin Ethan. There, after a confrontation with Team Rocket, he met and befriended a pokemon, Chimchar.

As the three of them already had pokemon, they made a race: the first one to successfully challenge the High Command would win. And they wasted no time getting out.
