About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Sinnoh Legacy is a Sinnoh (Platinum) demake-style GBA ROM hack created by Kearnseyboy6. The project reimagines the Sinnoh experience in GBA format while introducing original twists, timeline disruptions, expanded Pokédex content, and side systems that go beyond a simple remake.
The hack mixes classic demake nostalgia with heavy custom scripting, ASM work, new music, expanded mechanics, and a more difficult battle environment designed for experienced players.
Story Overview
You begin as a 10-year-old trainer traveling through Sinnoh, similar to a Platinum storyline at first. However, things quickly spiral when a group of “hackers” begins manipulating the timeline using advanced abilities.
The main villain Stavros can distort land, teleport, and alter reality. His junior partner Roddles has a softer heart and occasionally helps the player, though his powers are limited. Your friend Barry constantly gets into trouble and forces you into dangerous situations while trying to stop Stavros.
Meanwhile, Looker works to bring these timeline manipulators to justice, and even Cyrus plays a different role than in the original games.
Your journey is not just about becoming Champion — it's about restoring balance to Sinnoh’s distorted timeline.
