About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee (GBA) is a pair of ROM hacks created by Kevin PokeFan based on Pokémon FireRed. These hacks are loosely inspired by the Nintendo Switch “Let’s Go” titles, bringing similar concepts into the GBA engine while maintaining the structure of FireRed.
The project focuses on recreating that modernized Kanto feel through updated mechanics, overworld Pokémon encounters, and additional content such as new maps, characters, and events. It blends familiar gameplay with newer generation features like Mega Evolution and regional forms, aiming to deliver a hybrid experience between classic FireRed and modern Pokémon titles.
With ongoing updates and additions like newer generation Pokémon and optional randomizer modes, the hack continues to expand beyond a simple remake concept.
