About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Kyanite is a unique hack that gives you the opportunity to become a Gym Leader in the Shiku region. The story begins with your father, a gym leader, passing on the mantle to you as he decides to retire. As the new gym leader, you will face many challengers, but your journey doesn’t stop there. You'll need to explore the Shiku region and take on various side plots, all while dealing with the responsibilities of leading a gym and managing your Pokémon team.
This hack features optional gym leaders, side quests, and mysteries that you can solve at your own pace, allowing you to shape the story the way you want. It’s not just about becoming the best; it’s about making decisions that will impact the region and the people in it.
The game also introduces new Pokémon mechanics, including DNA research by Professor Beech, and a mysterious Enigmatic Egg that holds a secret of its own.
Story Overview
The story kicks off when Alexander, a long-time gym assistant, takes you to your father’s gym. Upon arrival, your father reveals he is retiring, and he asks you to take over the gym. You are now the official Gym Leader of the Shiku region. Alexander teaches you the ropes of being a gym leader and gives you your first Pokémon to manage.
As a gym leader, you’ll face many challengers seeking your badge, but your role isn’t confined to the gym. The Shiku region needs you, and you'll embark on a journey to help people across the region. Along the way, you’ll uncover several plots, with a significant one involving Professor Beech, a researcher of Pokémon DNA, who has a special mission for you. There’s also the mysterious Enigmatic Egg, which you’ll need to investigate.
