About This ROM Hack
Pokémon Fluorite is a re-make of the original Fluorite, crafted with inspiration from Pokémon Emerald. This hack focuses on creating a more balanced level curve and an improved gameplay experience by integrating elements from previous hacks. The game introduces new mechanics and features, while maintaining the essence of the original storyline.
The game is set four years after the events of Pokémon Emerald, where Team Aqua and Team Magma are no longer active in the Hoenn region. However, rumors about their return spread across the region. As the story progresses, the player becomes involved with a new organization, the Regma Rangers, whose mission is to stop these two teams from causing chaos in the Regma Region.
Story Overview
The story begins with Team Aqua and Team Magma making plans to cause trouble in the Regma Region, using Groudon and Kyogre to achieve their goals. The protagonist, a young trainer who was previously given an Aipom from a daycare, lives peacefully in Tentrem Town. The adventure starts when the player is sent on a simple errand, but things escalate when they encounter Team Magma, and later Team Aqua.
The protagonist is then recruited into the Regma Rangers, a group focused on stopping Team Aqua and Team Magma's schemes. Throughout the journey, the player must collect all Gym Badges, take down the evil teams, and unravel the mystery of Groudon and Kyogre's return, all while facing challenging new rivals. The player’s goal is to stop the evil forces from unleashing chaos on the region.
