It focuses on player decisions, multiple rivals, new gameplay systems, and moral choices that influence your journey through the Kanto region.

The game introduces a Moral Compass mechanic, where your in-game decisions will shape your experience. There are also three rival characters, each with their own paths, making the rival system more dynamic. Other features include factions, EV and IV-based trainers, and an expanded battle system where items are banned but berries are allowed.

Story Overview

In Flare Red, the story is re-imagined with new decisions, characters, and factions influencing the plot. Your decisions, reflected by your Moral Compass, will impact which faction you align with, and your relationships with the three rivals will evolve based on their distinct paths.
