About This ROM Hack

Pokémon Stardrop is a story-driven GBA ROM hack that blends classic FireRed gameplay with a deep, lore-focused narrative centered around the legendary Pokémon Suicune. The hack introduces a brand-new region, expanded mechanics, and several original gameplay systems that go beyond the standard Pokémon formula.

Rather than being a simple enhancement hack, Stardrop aims to deliver a more emotional and mysterious journey where mythology, corruption, and legendary power shape the world around you.

Story Overview

In the world of Pokémon Stardrop, purity is nearly extinct. The only being considered truly pure is Suicune, the legendary guardian who has maintained balance in the world since ancient times alongside Entei and Raikou.

Suicune has purified human hearts, defeated power-hungry Pokémon, and sealed dangerous forces away for eternity. However, legends warn that if Suicune is captured, its divine power could turn mortals into gods.

The story begins with a young child whose father is a world-renowned professor studying the legendary beasts. After 20 years of research, he believes he has finally located Suicune. As he leaves on his expedition, he sends the player on a simple errand — but this ordinary task becomes the start of a life-changing adventure involving ancient legends, moral corruption, and the balance of the world itself.
