Pokémon Red and Blue Deluxe (DX) is a full-color Game Boy Color upgrade of the original Red and Blue games. It combines classic gameplay with modern enhancements, including expanded Pokémon availability, updated mechanics, new moves, types, and quality-of-life improvements.

This hack also introduces four difficulty levels, competitive improvements, and an expanded post-game experience, making it suitable for both casual players and competitive fans.


Story Overview

The story follows the classic Kanto journey: you begin your adventure as a Pokémon Trainer, travel across the Kanto region, challenge Gym Leaders, thwart Team Rocket, and face the Elite Four.

Red and Blue Deluxe retains the original narrative, while adding modern mechanics, new Pokémon, and additional post-game challenges, including expanded trainer rosters, rematches, and Battle Factory/Tent events.
