Story Overview
While the story largely follows the original Emerald plot, the gameplay has been rebalanced for fairer battles. Gym Leaders, the Elite 4, and Steven all have full Pokémon teams, but they don’t use items in battle, except for specific exceptions like Steven. The Hoenn region remains the main setting, with all traditional challenges intact but modernized for quality-of-life improvements.
