About This ROM Hack

Pokémon Supreme Fire: Mewtwo’s Revenge is a FireRed-based hack that expands the Kanto storyline and introduces a second narrative arc featuring an intruder force and a weakened Armored Mewtwo. Players start as a prodigy trainer and work alongside Mewtwo to defeat an evil organization that merges aspects of Team Rocket, Team Aqua, and Team Magma. The hack introduces new mechanics, Pokémon, abilities, moves, and gameplay improvements, including Mega Evolution variants, expanded EV and IV systems, and custom stat adjustments to create a more modern and challenging experience.

The ROM hack emphasizes exploration, strategic battles, and unique encounters with Prodigy Trainers, Mega Trainers, and customized wild Pokémon. Several quality-of-life features such as running shoes indoors, infinite Safari time, move re-learners, and name changers make the experience smoother.

Story Overview

The story begins in Kanto, following the original FireRed plot, but quickly expands into a continuation where three brothers protecting the Pokémon world have been defeated by intruders with powerful Pokémon. You, a newly graduated prodigy trainer, embark on a journey to defeat these intruders, assisted by an injured Armored Mewtwo.

Instead of Team Rocket, a new evil organization works for the intruders. Players face city-specific challenges, mini-gym battles against Prodigy Trainers from the Sevii Islands, and Mega Trainers who offer Mega Stones as rewards. The hack blends Kanto exploration with new strategic battles and narrative twists, integrating classic gameplay with modern mechanics and expanded Pokémon options.
